All the adult links are canonically around like 5’7,” so none of them are particularly tall. TP link I think is the leanest looking and of course they made him tall as shit in smash bros.
I'm sorry but I think The Hero of Time is the pinnicle of links. In terms of stats he is the most balanced out of most links. Plus he is the only link to ever meet his successor as well as train him
The successor part isnt true. There is another zelda (the name escapes me at the moment but I think it was on the 3ds) where there is an old man that is strongly implied to be a previous link that has the same items/skills as the link you control in the game and is a hidden boss in the game. But I am heavily biased towards the OoT and TP Links in terms of the best

In addition to the Hero of the Wild is how much inner struggle he has of being the weirder of the Master Sword as well as his deeper connection to Princess Zelda. In the Japanese version, the player’s journal narrates Link’s thoughts, opinions, triumphs and his reason to seal Calamity Ganon: to see Zelda’s smile once again. My hope for Tears of the Kingdom is we get Link have more human emotions and REAL Zelink moments.
Spirit tracks Zelda is the best imo she plays a very significant role in the story and is actually playable as well as having arguably the best chemistry with link. She is along side you throughout the whole adventure no other Zelda even comes close imo.
In the downfall timeline ocarina of time link fails to stop Gannon and the Hero of Legend defeats a more powerful version of Gannon who holds the full power of the Triforce! There is also a theory that in A link between worlds The Hero of Legend is the old man that you can fight against. Zeltik made a video about that theory. I think the hero of Legend is the best version of link.
Twilight princess link is way to low, like we actually see character struggles and see emotion from him when it comes to the kids of the village. Maybe a bit of bias as I have read the twilight princess manga, which makes link into a well written semi tragic character at moments and is an amazing series. Like recomend you check it out as it really makes the already great story of twilight princess into an even better writen story with so many good character moments. Fun fact all the other zelda manga are 1 to 2 vols to cover the whole game, twilight is like 11 vols and it's amazing. Add some much to the story well also adding to the stuff hinted at in the game but did not happen.

It’s an official zelda product, think of it like video game remake the adds and changes stuff. It may not be canon to the main time line but it could be since it actually makes more connection to the actual canon timeline then the game and all. Like we can argue if it’s canon or not but is an official product.
If there was a MT Rushmore for Link. I'd give it to Twilight Princess, Hero of Time, Hero of Wind, and Hero of the Wild. I'd put Spirit Tracks Link over the Hero of Minish and NES for utility and narrative reasoning. Same with Hero of Skies. I wish you brought more up about their visual designs and talents we utilize in the game like the mounts or item usage. On top of personality. Edit: Also The Heroes of Twilight and Hero of Time being blood related as descendant and ancestor. That would've been nice trivia.

The Hero of Legend has the best Arsenal among the Links, the Golden Master Sword that deals 4 Times as much damage as the regular Master Sword, the Silver Arrows which deal tons of Damage to even some Bosses, the Red Tunic that gives him only a quarter of damage, Rings that boost up his Offense and Defense even further or give him the opportunity to regain health and heck, even invincibility Items that feed on his Magic Meter

I appreciate the Links in all their forms, but I like the hero of time because of the blend of child Link’s youthful innocence, and adult Link’s masculinity and air of dangerousness. I like adult Link to be more masculine than androgynous, but different strokes for different folks. To me, adult Link from OoT is some badass blend of Robin Hood, Peter Pan, and Batman. I wouldn’t mess with that dude.
The Goddessess chosen hero should be 1 or 2. Without him none of the Link's would have the qualities to claim the triforce and without him there would be no Master Sword as he forged it through trials. Also he was very emotional with a wide range of expressions. Oh and let's not forget he defeated a demon king that was outside the bounds of time and space.

The Hero of Time (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask) has always been my favorite version of Link. It may have been only the first few games the franchise was in 3D, but they were awesome games.
My favorite Link is and always Will be the hero of Winds (despite my name) no other link matches his accomplishments while most other links were born with their triforce piece not this guy he had to fish it out of the ocean piece by piece and then fix the broken master sword on top of that. In addition to that he saved the world of the ocean king and forged the phantom sword from scratch how many other links forged a sacred sword. No other link has literally helped to found a entire new Hyrule as seen in spirit tracks
I think ALTTP Link is number one because of the 4 games and the most powered up Master Sword. Wind Waker Link is the most athletic, with his parry, roll, helm splitter, and general sword abilities. BOTW Link has the power of 5 champions. He has Mipha's Grace, Urbosa's Fury, Revali's Gale, Darik's Protection, and his own Perfect Guard and Flurry Rush. But, they'd all lose to Fierce Deity Link.

Oot/Mm Link is highly experienced , has a solid inventory , has lost everything and took other people's sorrows giving him strong mentality , is the most muscular so probably physically strongest , has the most skill , he controls time and space , has 5 girls , defeated the first Ganon , passed on his teachings even after his death , all with the mentality of a child because he lost his childhood and suddenly became an adult , all ignoring the Fierce Deity Mask that turns him into a literal God ... The Hero of Time is the most powerful and awesome incarnation of him.
The Hero of Time: -grew up without a family and was rejected by his peers -had to put up with the bottom of the well as a child -travel time and have his heroic efforts erased -lost all of his friends (Zelda, Saria, Navi) -Had to deal with the twisted world of Termina and the demon mask that was about to doom it as a child -And became the Fierce Deity No other link compares what this hero went through

Should swap the positions of The Goddesses Chosen Hero and The Hero of Winds. I know SS is not held in high regard (mostly due to its motion controls) but in terms of narrative it is the more impactful story between it and WW.
I would shoot up the Sky hero a little bit up. Not because his game stands out from your usual 3d zelda but because that Link is super important. If you make an importance podium then hero of time places 1st and hero of sky is 2nd
Hero of time is my fav but IMO Hearo of twlight is ranked too low. BOTW has the least emotion and blank slate ever. I have no clue how he ranks above Twlight

Era of the wild link actually managed to kill his Ganondorf I don’t see any other Link doing that except Era of Twilight

Much more interesting topic which Link is the most powerful? I’d probably take Skyward Sword Link if we’re just going off raw abilities and not counting items. Hero of Time stomps just about everybody if arsenals are included

Should swap the positions of The Goddesses Chosen Hero and The Hero of Winds. I know SS is not held in high regard (mostly due to its motion controls) but in terms of narrative it is the more impactful story between it and WW.
I would shoot up the Sky hero a little bit up. Not because his game stands out from your usual 3d zelda but because that Link is super important.
If you make an importance podium then hero of time places 1st and hero of sky is 2nd

Hero of time is my fav but IMO Hearo of twlight is ranked too low. BOTW has the least emotion and blank slate ever. I have no clue how he ranks above Twlight
Who puts wind waker link above twilight and botw? Both links accomplished more and had far more powers at his disposal.
