Randen extended an olive branch to Venus when nobody else would. He was shown to be kind and understanding even when it wouldn’t necessarily benefit him. He’s a good dude and I’m glad he got to play even though it was for just a short time.
this was a good interview, especially with the context of the parvati comment making a lot more sense. i like how randen was able to make amends w venus and actually work with her, shows the promise of both those players going far in the game. he seems pretty intelligent and competitive too, hope he gets another shot one day to get back on the island
So true, he never even got to tribal. And if bruce got to come back because he’s a silly guy who slammed his head into a log, randen should be able to come back because of this freak of nature event
From the pre season interviews, Randen was my favourite and one of my FTC picks. His quote in that interview "Sometimes quiet is move" still moves me. I really wanted him to go far so I hope the show brings him back.
Thanks Rob, that was a great exit interview. These medivacs are always painful to watch, and I loved seeing Randen's positive attitude and his insights.
so so happy to at least have this podcast and interviews because we learn so much about what was not shown in the episodes, loved to hear about the troll he pulled on soda to see if she was trustworthy, this is why every episode needs to be two hours we still don't get enough info about really important moments.
Rob, I just wanted to say you're awesome. You always bring a bit of light and laughter to everything. I really appreciate you and all the entertainment you put out into the world. ✌💛
Randen was one of my picks too. Very astute, cool, calm, good sense of awareness, and very observant once he hit the beach. I liked his test on Soda and the fact that he aligned with Venus. It's too bad he had to be medevac'ed. I hope we see more of him in the future on Survivor. Also I hope his daughter threw a "first one out of the tribe" party in the loving-est way possible!
I felt terrible for randen in the moment, but I felt slightly intrigued by this medivac, because I can’t imagine how Venus moves on in the game after this, and considering how much content she is getting it’s making me think she’s gonna go far. I just have no idea how anymore
potentially, venus doesnt realize how lucky she is that hunter is on her tribe, she wants to get rid of him but his challenge dominance is literally the only reason shes still there@@wispral7739
It seemed like it happened so fast and came out of nowhere how they edited it. Im glad from a game standpoint that it was a fully justified reason to be pulled because if i was in his shoes and felt better the next morning after a good nights sleep I would have been devestated. It almost felt like production was protecting Kenzie and Bhanu.
This guy deserves a second chance. It’s clear he would be a strong strategic player and, just like Bruce, he was medically evacuated before he had any chance to actually play his game
I think it would have been a great idea for Jeff to let the tribe come into council and go through all their motions and whisperings and Bhanu crying a few buckets of tears, then, instead of the usual, he says "It's......NOT time to vote. Go back to camp, you've got the night off."
tbh he was my winner pick until he started showing up in very little of the promo material, I guess this was why bc if it weren’t for the med-evac it seems like he would’ve been a really great player :(
He didn't even get to see the Tribal Council set cos his tribe never lost an Immunity Challenge 😢 I was rooting for him. Sad to see him go so soon from the game.
I was itching to get to this channel and this video before I finished the episode, it would have been sad to see Randen go out for something that's not serious.
Wow, sound like if randen was not medical evacued he was tooked a total control of nami in the first vote and he and venus be a deadly duo. The preview of the episode 4 show like the efort of randen totally paid of. It a shame the medical evacuation bc Randen looks like a very good player.
How much do early boots know about the future of the game? Do they end up seeing all of the other pre-merge boots and know nothing after they are kicked out of ponderosa? I know they used to get shipped off quickly to a seemingly random vacation....
AU survivor gives players at least 24 hours outside the game to seek medical and if they are cleared to play again they come back. They are at a disadvantage socially but they shouldn’t be pulled immediately from the game like this and he ended up being fine

I think Randen can come back, like how Bruce got brought back for Season 45
thisssss !!!!!!!!!
too bad god hates him more than yanu 😞
I didn't think I would like him, but in the end I warmed up to him, hope he gets another chance

Let Randen come back !!Bruce had the chance❤

Really interesting to hear his perspective. Seems like we may not be getting an accurate picture of the tribe dynamics early on in Nami.
Live auto play doesn’t spoil it. Thanks for making the needed changes Rob
We try and listen
Did not expect to like Randen as much as I do. I really hope he gets a chance to return. He didn’t even get to tribal council
From the pre season interviews, Randen was my favourite and one of my FTC picks. His quote in that interview "Sometimes quiet is move" still moves me. I really wanted him to go far so I hope the show brings him back.
He def could, like how Bruce did
Thank you for this comment!!
@@RandenMontalvo yo randen, u had a lot of potential bro, sucks to see u go. U were one of my favs
@@RandenMontalvo - You were my pick to win the whole thing, too. You cost me several $10 scratchers, lol.
@@ekamsingh7576 Thank you truly appreciate that!!

wow, wish he'd made it further.... he's one smart, astute player! He'll be back in future betcha

Great interview! Very interesting to hear more of Randen’s perspective and get some more insight into Nami dynamics.
super insightful interview from randen. sad to see him go!
Enjoy the exit interviews much Rob. It's just about the right run time too!!
RHAP is peaking! Great shows!
LOVE LOVE LOVE RANDEN!! You played great man, were a force and a sure contender 💚
thank you!! truly appreciate it!

i think yanu is just gonna lose most of if not all the rest of the challenges pre merge

The worst part wasn't even Randen going home, it was Bhanu staying. Now we've got to watch him bawling his eyes out for at least another 90 minutes.
It seemed like it happened so fast and came out of nowhere how they edited it. Im glad from a game standpoint that it was a fully justified reason to be pulled because if i was in his shoes and felt better the next morning after a good nights sleep I would have been devestated. Wow after watching this and seeing more of Randen's personality/strategy I'm bummed we didn't get to see more of his game!
This guy deserves a second chance. It’s clear he would be a strong strategic player and, just like Bruce, he was medically evacuated before he had any chance to actually play his game
what a cool dude - so sorry his experience was so cruelly robbed
randen lowkey giving bruce return vibes tho
I hit the like button as promised 👍🏼 🙂
Two great folks gone in just as many weeks :( it is a bummer, but it is still shaping up to be a good season!

Love this view! I wouldn't be so bold to say that although I appreciate the perspective, the goal was to create options just in case!
i have a feeling he did give the advantage to venus and we will see it in the next episode
I was listening to an old album of mine and suddenly, a light bulb went off. The song 'All I Can Do Is Cry' by Savoy Brown was written for Bhanu.
really like him as a player, sad he had to be pulled out
Hopefully he gets a 2nd chance
I’ve seen it blow up on the socials that Bhanu is like a talented actor. Please dig into his backstory and spill the tea.

this is late, but im they talk about the game outside of ponderosa, like, after filming
The way he talks about Liz + Tevin/Hunter makes me feel like Nami won't be going to tribal or there's gonna be a swap that breaks up that voting bloc
So sad, glad he is doing better
I get why they need to be super cautious with medical stuff like this but it's super sucky. I feel for him.
Are we confident that another beware advantage or idol would be hidden at the orange camp?
Bro we need a season where he and Matthew are captains that would be a great twist
Matthew from 44
Honestly, one of the few good cast members this season. Sad to see him go. These hyper positive, feel good casts make me sick 🤢.
12:38 NAMIII
Can you scale the side by side so the faces are close to the same size? rob looking like a giant next to randen.
Such a shame. Woulda liked to see him make a run
If even half of this is true, the directors failed on this and last episode
Anyone else get the impression “hyper-social players” are stereotyped as good dancers but bad tippers
Live autoplay still spoils. Just a warning for videos you premiere upload…
I'm open to more suggestions
@@rhap The auto play doesn’t spoil it any longer. I think this user is just trolling…
I get the sense that randen would’ve been a boot had he not been medevac’d
Randen wasn't even going to tribal

He was not fine at all he just didn't need immediate surgery
