Tevin is great with people, a fantastic storyteller, and madly entertaining. Hope he will get another chance to play more social games in front of the camera.

For the millionth time...
There was already a plan by the majority to vote Tevin out going into this tribal.
Unless the target is sporadically immune, 99% of the time, players DO NOT change their vote at the last second at tribal council, regardless of what new information develops.
More often than not, the more rational thing to do is just stick with the plan, then sort out any new information back at camp decide what to do with it next round.
@RA-hx9uc If you are talking about these premerge quits where there are only 6 or 5 people at tribal council, that is ALOT easier to change the plans to that one post merge with 8 people already having a plan in place.
Especially if the person who quits was already a backup vote with no solid allies because it was post swap anyways (in the case of the Sean quit from 45 like you are likely talking about)

Yes Tevin is a descriptive and observant storyteller and would love to hear his perspective on the game! I hope he comes back!
Tevin was a great addition to the cast. Compelling storyteller, strategic, funny, and sounds like he really made an effort to have a respectful working relationship with everyone in the game, regardless of their personalities and flaws.
I think his only mistake was laughing about Venus’ delusion to Liz. If he had kept it cool and held it together, he would’ve still been there
@@generallukeproductionswhile he definitely should have toned down his reaction to venus, i don’t see how he could’ve guessed liz also considered it her move. she didn’t really like soda but i don’t remember her ever expressing that she wanted her out or trying to convince anyone to vote her. he really couldn’t have known that liz felt like she was a part of the plan too
@@lilacfields yeah that’s for sure, hindsight is 20/20. I think Liz was crazy for considering she deserved credit for Soda vote, but the subsequent move she pulled off here seems to be even better because she’ll probably be able to fly under the radar due to the Q shenanigans

tevin went to my university, and has spoken to some of my friends in their theatre program when visiting as an alum. they all say he’s really this cool and genuine in real life. he was so fun to watch 💛
He was my day one winner pick, he just has that winner vibe, hope to see him back someday

Whenever a new season starts I almost always force myself to pick one person in episode one just for fun and he was mine this season

6:46 super well said by Tevin! Venus admitted in an early episode her culture impacted her interactions & we’ve seen it through the edit. Love how messy & girlboss she can be, but I also think her relationships are so bad w the cast bc she’s stubborn & only seeing her POV.
Part of playing the game really is relationships, jury management, and SELF AWARENESS. I think in this new era, you have to understand your competitors motivations and gameplay more than ever bc this is a show about strategy that’s evolved so much! This is why social threats are everyone’s fear.
Disclaimer: I love the TV drama Venus provides & survivor has been missing it!!! But as an opinionated viewer, it’s easy to pick flaws in ppls games with the editing & full picture. I just think strategically you need to check your ego, and always think about how you’re perceived/ the relationships you make.
Be likeable, but non-threatening socially (kinda perfectly where Liz, Charlie, Tiff are from the edit we’ve seen so far)
Tevin was a great person to be casted I hope he plays again!
Never had a survivor contestant I would want as a main stay on RHAP as much as Tevin. His energy is contagious!!
I’m also so glad you asked about Tevin’s relationship with Maria because I figured they had something going on since they went on the journey together.

I hope to hear the new Jjngle at some point. That was pretty awesome. Maybe Tevin could send it as a higher quality audio clip. This was my favorite exit interview. I liked it enough to pull out my phone and comment. I usually watch on my TV, so comments are impossible from there. I just wanted to show my support more than a like.
Tevin is such an excellent communicator, intelligent. Would love to see him on television again!
Of course Tevin has the best backdrop! A breath of fresh air on the show, bring him back.

i honestly don’t see hunter making it that far unless he either improves his social game or consistently wins immunity from here on out. i def can see maria and venus but with charlie instead

he to me, had a very good chance of making it far, but he voted out Soda, which messed him up because he didn’t have the numbers anymore. then Q did his stunt thing and boom, collateral damage.
His elimination surprised me! Great episode.

Great blindside… Tevin had absolutely no idea it was coming… Strange as this tribal council was, Venus is having her way with getting people voted out that she has disapproval of… Q has blown his game completely up… He’s not strong in the challenges and may be going home sooner than he thinks… Tiffany was thrown under the rug with his zany antics and will have to win some challenges to stay in the game further. I just can’t understand why people are not looking for idols after others are voted out… I’m waiting for that question to be asked… Tevin says they sit around camp being bored… I would be out hunting all the time or at least bring it up…
I appreciate his effort to work things out with Venus.
I found it absolutely hilarious that literally every tribal after the merge he voted for Venus. When he was voted out I really wanted hunter to play his idol and cast a single vote for Venus so that she could go home. I felt like that would have been hilarious.
I find it interesting what Tevin said about needing to get rid of Soda if he replaced Venus as her number one and he felt like she could easily do it again to him. From what Soda said the reason she distanced herself from Venus was because Tevin was getting concerned. Interesting
This interview solidifies for me that Maria is absolutely NOT winning. Tevin being such a big part of her game despite going home is a hugggeeee detail to show for why Maria wins.
Love Tevin but his logic of Soda gone being good for his game at 8:00 just makes absolutely 0 sense. It comes across more as paranoia to me. All love tho seriously 💚💚💚
Tevin was scared of Soda because Soda reminds Tevin of him. They both have similar personalities, likeable, easy going so that is why he turned on her.

He said he doesn’t know why Hunter voted Venus…. But if Tevin is on the jury and was living in Ponderosa, the only way he wouldn’t know Hunter’s thinking about the Venus vote is if he never got to ask him. Because Hunter never made it to Ponderosa. As in Hunter was probably in the Final 3/4? 😮

Tevin is great but I wish he would’ve said that voting out Soda that early was a mistake. Two big personalities can protect each other kinda like a “meat shield” but instead they targeted each other and cost their selves a million dollars…
His answers are literally the exact same as other podcasts, down to the word. He improvs a bit at the beginning of each question, but then gets back on track to what he rehearsed
It's not surprising that he already has an idea of what he's going to be asked and how he'll respond.
When you're asked the same question, your answers will be similar. Plus there's probably a little prep to make sure you don't drop spoilers, and he's probably been thinking all of this over every day since it happened. He's also just good with words.
Was your expectation that he gives 5 different stories?

Based on the episode, I thought Venus didn't know ow wasn't fully aware that Tevin pulled off the Soda blindside. Or was she just spilling that to the whole tribe to ruin his game?
You were too fickle Tevin. You did not read Soda correctly and turned against her way too soon. Also, it was interesting to see how quickly you put other names of your allies forward on a whim (ex. Tif) for silly little reads you took from a conversation. Your compass was busted - and still I rooted for you.
Literally, what made him think that going for another black player, who was LOYAL to him would be a good move? So glad he got his karma. Then him actually overplaying, acting like he was underplaying being the “mastermind” of the Soda vote 😭. Just terrible gameplay.
@@nebulous798 Liz said that she was saying since Day 1 that Soda needed to go. It just probably wasn’t put in the edit so we understood more of why getting rid of Soda was a BAD move for Tevin rather than a GOOD move by Liz. Either way, absolutely no reason to do it. It just gave Sabiyah turning on Kaleb for reason.

It seems like he was a pretty great player. Whether him laughing about Venus' blindside was a show or real, it was way too much. As a viewer I'm thinking what are you doing, do you have a job, you know this will instantly lose you a final three vote even if you are right.
Ok. But what did venus do to him??? Yes, he was made to feel some type of way by venus but WHAT DID VENUS ACTUALLY DO?
It was karmic justice to see tevin voted out while venus is still in the game, considering how poorly he treated her. Reminds me of scott alicia feud in koah rong.

I think he had a lot of good strategy socially, but I also am sensing a little bit of delusion here as well. Its odd to me the way he talked about how getting out Soda was still a good move when he very clearly had just misread her.
3 black people voted out back to back , clear subconscious bias.
I mean… two of them were voted out by other black people. Tevin said it himself that he orchestrated Soda being voted out and Q went after Tim. I don’t get how there can be a bias if the people who orchestrated 2/3 of the people voted out were the same race.
@@jacob4448 who made the final decisions? because it takes more than one person to vote out other people. 1. Us as black people never stick together and two persons of other races always has the final vote majority of the time and always end up pick the black person. And that’s non debatable it happens ALL THE TIME go back watch survivor and you’ll clearly see.
