Can you tell me something bout the lightscheme you use with these coralcares? My tank is bout 70 cm height, my CC’s are working at 65%, mostly with blue light but also some white..
Absolutely not sponsored. Chris spent money out of his pocket to make this change. Think about it for a second though. Do you think few light fixtures are worth jeopardizing his livelihood as a coral farmer?
Ha! I wish! Had a few industry friends say ..”I hope you got a few free lights for this advertising.” Lol Nope but that’s okay. Did this for my friend Richard and because I’m happy with the light so far.
Hey Ryan! Sorry, been very hectic here in afishionado land. Preparing for the show season, working with many different companies while juggling full time parent / husband takes alot of my time lol. I'm sure we will meet soon one of these days. :) if you have facebook, go ahead and add me. Richard d back. You can reach me faster there.
I bought 3 Gen 2's and a controller less than a month before they went on sale and started throwing the controller in for free. story of my life! LOL Par may be lower because they are mounted so high... Philips recommends 9 - 12 inches on a 24 inch deep tank.
I have a friend he have the corals care 2 the corals like but the colour are ugly comparered to my radions. I tested different led but non make corals happy as halides +t5, I think I will switch back this leds are a lot of marketing, yes you can maintain and growing corals but not close to what halides can do
I have been using these lights for close to a year now. Got them when they came out in Europe. Amazing lights for growth and color.
