I'm so excited for the release of the full range, Boarboyz were like my dream models from when I was 12 so I'm going hard on these, absolutely hog wild. Stick a Blorc Warboss and BSB nearby, I'm going ham. Having said that, a goblin warboss chariot looks like a decent budget combat character and those Wolf Riders can screen for him, so many options.
Other than in tournaments maybe, things like "I already have spears modeled so I have to take them" shouldn't really be required. If you and your opponent agree and are clear ahead of time (maybe with notes written down) you should be free to pretend those spears are just hand weapons. Imo. Maybe it's because I mostly play with one person but we're very loosey goosey in terms of wysiwyg
I have mixed build units of skeletons since I ened so many its a pain. Basically "Front row is the weapons they all have" is my usual quick rule but the mixed orc units make it work
was really hoping old world would let us put night goblin shamans on squigs. id even settle for a smaller squig mount (same size as hoppers) separate from the big one
I have to laugh a bit, the amount of 'old world' content released vs the amount of new epic content released. Seems like there's definitely a preference hehe.
Snotlings are swarms. Swarms don't block line of sight. Could be a good blocking unit for Arrer Boys and Goblin Archers. Steve and Ben, you are a fun duo to watch! Impetuosity galore. You guys rock!
Motley Crew black orcs should take the back rank with shields. 5 pts, and the first 5 saves will be with shields. From what I remember, you'll never get an orc unit down to the last rank and still be stepping up. So I'll probably run 15 with great weapons and 5 with just shields.
its based on unit majority and weapon in front row so really you need 11 models with shields and 9 with great weapons and put greats all up front. Then you get teh armor and the weapons.
quick questions: are Warbows on Orc Mobs good now? They are free upgrades you can take unless you want to equip spears or additional handweapons. seems like a no brainer to me unless the close combat weapon choices are THAT much better
black orcs; great weapons on the first rank, hand weapon shield on the second, double hand weapon on the third. Maybe switch the last two. Very interesting with prolonged combat.
But why? I think I go with both GWs and shields, you can choose HW+shields instead of GWs if you need to (GWs are probably overkill against most infantry).
@@ФедяКрюков-в6ь Great weapon charge with Itchy Nuisance, when they start to drop 1 attack steps up, and a last rank of shields to deny 75% of the points for end game. Just a theory craft, interested to try it. Maybe I don't understand the motley crew rule.

Black orcs and chaos warriors are pretty similar. The Black orcs wear full plate, the warriors have better stats. What are the thoughts about these two?
Great to hear that the orcs and goblins sound good! I watched the square based podcast episode on magic and they said that night goblins could take necromancy spells, where they just wrong if night goblin shamans/ weird nobz can only take waaagh and illusion magic?
Good Video. I have a question. We Know that a Unit can adopt only Formation in his Special Rule. Now. We Know that a Close Order Formation is composed of 2 or MORE model in Ranks and Files. Well. Dragon Ogre can only adopt Close Order, but if i want i can also purchase just one 1 Dragon Ogre. So what Formation will the Dragon Ogre have? I Remember that He is not a Heavy Chariot, he is not a Monster, he is not a Character...
I am reading through the rules. And I think Rarachnarok might not be as meh. First if all it provided 360 degree arc fir both shooting and casting spells. Whitch means it is quite good fir a goblin shooting multitude if spells. Second it aoears as howdah rule Incorporate behemoth rule. As it stated that behemoth having this rule and I did not find any entry with howdah and behemoth. Sonething for errata I guess.
It seems poor for it’s cost but might have a place in a themed all goblin army as a mount for a spellcaster general as they’d then have 18” leadership boost and some of the spells use command range.

He has already made the videos for each of the legacy armies, he can't release them til the PDFs are released though which doesn't look like happening until some point next week.
Question: for shooting attacks, is it all models in the front rank that can shoot or does each model need arc of sight to shoot? Example: I have a unit of peasant bowmen 40 models wide and the target lies within the 90 degree arc of only 20. Will they all be able to shoot or only the 20 with arc?
You were incorrect about troll vomit, you don't have to roll to hit. It says that vomit attacks hit automatically if you read the note underneath it all the way through.
So on the Old World Facebook groups, people keep going on and on about how unfun it would be to play against an all gyrocopter army. I feel like that would be a great idea for a battle report. There is a lot of controversy about it which should drive a lot of views and shares.
I am glad orcs and goblins are going to be awesome, but I do think they're going to be a bit too consistent. Like you're always going to have Black Orcs. Always. No doubt. They are too good to not bring. And they aren't even a tax considering that they are so strong and the units they help out are so SO Cheap. I'd want to play a themed army without them, and I do find it weird that they can ride a wyvern. Didn't think they could before. I feel like Giants are a microcosm of the entire army. So powerful now for only 200pts? Like I said, I'm happy they are good, but how do you reasonably fight this thing without canons? They have awesome arty, awesome monsters (perhaps save the arachnaorc) and amazing CHEAP infantry... It doesn't matter if you're impetuous at this point? Oh, and you turn that off too. I will have to see how they play out, but I think Orcs and Goblins are going to have to play down. We'll see though.
@@piotrskodowski7544 old world doesn't give you points for outnumbering your opponent in combat res and I think you have to have an extra rank to get the plus one. So 5 ranks of night gobbos will give you +1 in combat res for horde. So always run hordes in 25-30s. I've also haven't read the rules so I might be misunderstanding it myself.

Horde = extra rank bonus, not warband. Warband is +rank bonus to Ld and reroll charges
Yeah that’s what I said tho right?
No, during the Orc Shaman page you said how they have Warband so they get an extra rank.
