Serum Chaos Modulator Explained
Old dash is back :0
Serum is still one of the finest synth out there :)
the big head dramatic dash is too funny 🤣
Truly great work. Your understanding of these programs and genres is next level.
Serum, Omnisphere, Phase Plant, Pigments, U-He, etc… Would love to see vids on other things as I own most of them and you always have deeper insight into things
Who else got goosebumps at 5:21 xD
One thing you missed is that Chaos 1 and 2 use different algorithms! From the manual: "Chaos 1 and 2 are different types of chaos LFO (low frequency oscillators).[..] Chaos 1 has a more periodic (repeating) and more bipolar (two separate tendencies, up or down). Chaos 2 has more of a chaotically 'restarting' sort of sound to it."
Thanks!
Haha, i laughed a lot at the intro 😂 lets start to watch the video
Old School Good Time Hip Hop Sweet Serum
Inspiring stuff! Tnx and merry Christmas :-)
I really enjoy it when you go back to other wavetable synth and add your wizard tricks and master .I love your channel all the best and cheers
cheers Dash :) always great to see these sorta vidz, have a great holiday
thanks
Thank you heaps. Appreciate your explanation and yeah new tricks I actually didn't know. So Good. 🙌
Dash, what have you done? That image from 0:06 till 0:12 is so cool! I need that alien wobly Dash for every video now! And not for few seconds! Make a entire videos with that image! 😂
Lots of great nuggets of knowledge on this one! 🔥
That is awesome, so saved that for other presets!
Serum has some capabilities that are rarely existent anywhere else: direct recording of a wavetable from audio source (with serum fx), ability to bounce audio from last played note (serum) and extensive resampling capabilities. And the wavetable editor is much more versatile than even Phase Plant wavetable editor. I tend to use still Serum as go-to synth and top it with snap heap because it is better oscillator than Phase Plant's version.
Strange, I WAYYYYY prefer Phase Plants Wavetable editor (Serum's relies HEAVILY on undo/redo while PP has nondestructive) for more finnicky stuff, I have better results with PP personally. but yea both different and good
lol... i literally joined the moment the video ended
11:45 that part… 😮
I still want to buy Serum! But vital is just too good.
There is so much out there for Serum.
I have a feeling that we will see Serum 2 soon.
Buy serum its easier then vital and you get a free upgrade to serum 2
@@SjarMenace I think I will. but I just brought Kilohertz everything..
so yeas.. I'm a little short xD
But I think Next will be serum then fabfilter bits.
you are right! Serum is bloody amazing.
@@Maradnus buying? Lolll that is so 2007
@@SjarMenace I like to buy the stuff I use..
I watched a friend go out of business because his VST was torrented.
He ended up selling gout in the end sadly but that put an end to his development.
Intro of Video is 😅 but don't forget Bitwig 😂 Tutorials.
❤+
The uncertain laugh after 'completely' 🤣🤣🤣
7 seconds...LOOOOOL hahahaha
Serum's Chaos doesn't retrig on the keypress which kind of sucks.
There's a parameter in the drop down called "Note On Rand" which does a retriggered random value on the trigger
@@DashGlitch thanks a lot for this!
how to do it in ableton ?
Serum? Never heard of it since 1991. Hahaha jk....
