I carry a field notes notebook and when I get home I transcribe important stuff to other notebooks. Its a fun little system. Plus its just an opportunity to use fountain pens

I've used a notebook since February 2023 and it never leaves my side. I found that using a notebook really helps with all kinds of stuff like finances, todo lists, calendar events, dreams and thoughts. It really is an amazing tool in this digital age with our phones giving distractions all the time.

I always carry a softcover pocket moleskine or Leuchtturm and I can’t be without it. It is a must and I love it.

Cards or Anki are better suited for memorizing everything. There is an article Augmenting Long-term Memory by Michael Nielsen. Long-term memory cannot be really pumped without spaced repetition

The older you're get, it's not your memory. It's the busy life we live in. That's probably why everybody's memory is not working
