Arcs has arrived! Plus the expansion and they've gone in a unconventional route it seems; the expansion is bigger, much bigger than the base! Let's check it out and what it looks like while I ramble along the way.
Plus cameo sneak peak appearances by the next two upcoming Bitewing's Knizias coming to crowdfunding later this month with brief overviews!!
Special guest appearance at the end by Aqua as well, an 18 card game from Kickstarter at the end!!
Thanks for watching!

I’ve been grinding arcs on table top simulator and having a blast. I hope you enjoy arcs!
Got mine yesterday in Sydney. Looking forward to giving it a go.
Arcs arrives tomorrow! Also, I have Iliad / Ichor on remind me. Saw an add for it and it looks really interesting.
Lol can't wait for you to play "Oath in space" to see it's almost nothing like Oath 😂
He likes to buy, but not play Leder Games
RGRTO vs FOMO
I think you struck gold with that one.
Review please!
I know there is cost, but couldn’t they have made a proper storage tray for the main game? Damn baggies!!
That cost money
Leder knows there's going to be a lot of expansions down the line so a plastic insert will be obsolete in a couple of years
@@brooklyns11b44I literally said that in my post. Thank you for your wisdom.
Leder Games doesn’t make inserts to their games.
id stick with Santorini for greek abstract 2 player game
why only have one abstract game when they all play vastly differently?
@@anab0lic while this is true, im not particularly interested in 'plays different'.. in short, not a game for me
@@KidJV so you only play games that play the same?
@@anab0lic i think you misunderstood, when acquiring games 'plays different' is not a factor for me.. might play the same might not.. what matter is if the game would be hitting the table more compared to the games i own that share similarities.. if not then why bother.. if you like the game then all good
But Arcs is a 2-4 player sci-fi non-abstract strategy game with a campaign. Not sure how they’re similar. But if you think it’s not something you’d get to the table very often, I don’t blame you for not being interested.
You gave the impression that you didn't know what you backed. Especially with the expansion.
To be fair with LEDER you're kind of going in trusting them to make a good game. Rarely the game they start with is the game ya get by the time it gets to you. But in the best way possible.
The expansions wasn’t originally an expansion. The reason it exists is because the game got too big to be marketable to a general audience. Splitting the game into a base game and an expansion allows casual players to pay less for the base game, while allowing core fans to purchase the larger experience if they want. As to the game changing, that’s just the nature of board game playtesting - and Cole Werle has proven himself to be a quality designer. Even if you don’t know what you’re going to get, you can trust Cole to produce a quality experience.
Yeah, originally it was going to be the 3 act game as standard. But during dev more people on the Discord were asking about the viability of a one game experience. The team has experimented with scenarios. But ultimately went hard on the base game, which helped develop the campaign and vice-versa. The campaign has ended up much bigger than originally planned which is great for the original backers who got great value compared to retail.
