    I’m seriously speechless. I’m so motivated. I’ve been slacking on my workouts for the past 5 years. I’m bout to get off my ass. To see this is so inspiring. Watch his swing. Look at his feet when they slow it down. HE’S NOT EVER FULLY GROUNDED. His front foot PIVOTS his back foot is only on the ball of his foot. Do you understand overstand and innerstand how much power you have when you are able to do that then look at his has hands when he hits change ups he pulls his hands back that means HE CAN FULLY SEE THE BALL omg I bet I bet the ball is big or he can see it so clear that he’s able to see it all the way to the crack of the bat which means he puts it EXACTLY where he wants it to go which is boy I tell you what I bet in some way or another is too show up the American historical homerun hitters and we all know how that went but he prolly is so motivated to crush that damn ball smooth out the park just to show them a Japanese PITCHER is doin it omg this is a marvelous display of focus silent passion dexterity eye tracking and hand eye coordination I will say this then I’m out if he keeps this up he’s on pace to hit over 60 home runs EASY no roids you can look at his form he’s a powerful hitter but if you really know baseball you can see how he’s catching up to pitches which CLEARLY shows that he’s really REAL PITCHER THAT CAN HIT HOMERUNS! 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 bless that man and his family and all who read this far ✌🏾

      @ElvisFreshly 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Well the reason he took the low contract and his talents to the angels when he came over to the sho, he went with the halos cause they would allow him to still play two way ball. A lot of teams wanted him but wanted him as a hitter, if he cared so much about his pay we wouldn’t be here watching a pitcher running 33 homers in a season 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

    • @wilburwood8261
      @wilburwood8261 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ElvisFreshly NO. All the teams wanted him as a pitcher.
      Remember scouts said Ohtani's hitting was high school level back then.
      And number 2, what you said is not the exact reason his pay is so low NOW. Ohtani had his chance to make a little bit more money last year, when he avoided arbitration. The fundamental reason he is paid low is 1) he was not this good as he was injured in previous years, 2) only first year of arbitration, cant get that much money like an established free agent.

    Swing like Griffey Jr, ball steams off the bat, 300-500+ homer club type swing. Pitches like Pedro with 100 Mph gas and a curve/slider/splitter from 70-96 mph on command…… And runs the bases and hustles on in park hits like Ricky Henderson 500 plus SB potential.

    Freak athlete... pure freak... #40 tonight. If he keeps up hitting+pitching like this for a handful of years he we be in the GOAT MLB player discussion for sure. I am rooting for him even tho I don't really care about the Angels, or really even baseball these days. But I know baseball, and this kid is phenomenal. Actually makes me want to watch more Angels games.

    Lol the call on his 32nd is great. "He's a beast!!" "Ha-Haaa!!!" Cracked me up. I think if Ohtani stays healthy the rest of the year he has a shot at mid 50s. Who knows? If he gets super hot, like he can, he might get 60.

      That announcer loves it. And how about the interpreter who gets to go everywhere Ohtani does too. Dream job.

    Ohtani doesn't hitt many cheap HRs. I'd say his average HR distance has to be over 400 ft. The shortest ones may be the 2 line drives at Yankee Stadium and the one at Fenway around the Pesky Pole. He gets his power almost entirely through his hands and arms. He practically hits his HRs flat-footed. He could probably drive the ball further if he developed a leg kick for forward momentum. He's also unusual in that he's a left-handed batter who can handle high pitches, and hit the high pitches with power. Those are usually pop-ups or strikeout pitches for lefty hitters.

    • @spdcrzy
      @spdcrzy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just realized that he has ZERO kick in his swing. Almost nobody else whose name isn't Pujols, Trout or Big Papi doesn't hit for power without getting that high knee in. It's only hips and up - zero foot movement except for a little toe point and swivel to help his momentum. Jesus. That's like Federer hitting a 120mph return of serve on the baseline WITHOUT a split step. Maybe it's his way of preserving his knees and ankles for the mound?

    The "strike three" the umpire called on Ohtani in the Seattle game yesterday was criminal. It was a foot and a half outside. It a shame when racism invades the game's officials.
