    Funny the mention of lotion. When I started stove tent camping getting extremely cracked dry hands was such a big annoyance. Nice setup, thanks.

      @@ColoradoHunterHiker an update video this year would be nice....you going hunting 2nd season here in a few weeks? Always enjoy seeing the elk camps. I still want a wall tent....how long does it take you to set up the wall tent, with how many people...thanks! Im thinking about a 12x15 with the extended porch like you have there for 2-3 people. Oh..and do you have a link for that foot pump and how its hooked to the sink? I have the same sink/table for fishing.

    Just bought a Colorado tent. I like your setup especially the extras and then your organization and hanging stuff up. Looks like it's very comfortable Camp which is always welcome to come back to after hunting and Hiking your ass off. Good luck next year I'm already thinking about what permits to put in for here in Montana

    Great video.
    I like seeing some of the ways other guys set up their wall tents.
    I didn't see the link for the pellet feeder though. I assume you had to cut a hole in the back of the stove.
    I'd be interested in getting one for my stove if it keeps me from having to get out of bed and stoke the fire
    Keep up the great videos, I just subscribed

    Not really a fan of hunting but that's a nice set up. I have a wall tent and the awning is a great idea I'll have to consider. Also as I live in Canada I definitely am considering a stove so I can extend my camp season beyond just the summer months.

    I have the same setup with Davis' cot & pad. I use a cabelas blanket type sleeping bag...very comfortable. However at the end of a week when rolling up, the Davis pad is very wet on the bottom side. In fact when I get home, I need to unroll it/remove it from the cover & dry it out. Do you have the same problem, & if so, have you figured out a solution? Thank you.

  • @tylerbennett6485
    @tylerbennett6485 ปีที่แล้ว

    How are the Davis cots? I've had many cots that have a ton of play in them and an excessive amount of wobble. I've been searching for a steadfast sleeping system.

    That's a 14x16 tent and 3 guys barely fit? Don't think I would do food and cooking inside tent. Do wall tents keep mice out better than other structures? ;-)

    • @ColoradoHunterHiker
      @ColoradoHunterHiker  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my mind, 4 in there is the max with cots (tables & gear) and a stove comfortably. Sure you can put more in there, but it gets crowded. Food/cooking etc. in the tent is all dependent on how you store it in the off season. I use a sealed 96 gallon trash container or tote and the mice can't get in. I've never had problems with mice or any other animals trying to get in during the hunts...
