I just realised this was today damn
Refuse to elaborate
Apparently he went skiing and got stuck on traffic. This guy doesn't care
He didn't leave completely, he left to get changed and then come back for the next round
@@ragerunner9515 avg chad
Give his opponent credit. He evened out the clock. Great sportsmanship
1.9k like and no comment? Imma fix that
Opponent used his time to do his moves. He didn't even out the clock.
@@nichekbaal6272 I would tell you to use a higher level of thinking but judging by your profile, your head is clearly in no man’s land
@@nichekbaal6272 did*
@@nichekbaal6272 he did
We have to give credit to his opponent, he was a true gentleman. After Magnus arrived; the opponend wasted two of his minutes and made it a fair game. Again; he has class.
Wait he did that?
@@kunjupulla yeah he played extrem slowly in the opening to make it a somewhat fair fight
He almost spent 2 min for the 10 moves opening
@nikoadif5667actually Carlsen said otherwise. So now not sure. In chessbase India interview of Carlsen, he said that the opponent was an extremely slow player anyway so Carlsen was not sure if the little delay every move was intentional or not.
@@kunalsingh4418 little delay? bro spent 30 seconds on the 5th move which even a 900 rated player (me) could see was probably the best move
his opponent was actually giving him a fair advantage despite him knowing the skill gap.
He shouldn't have. Not fair if late people get was the early people deserve. Definition of "fair" is not that little.
His opponent actually lost time purposely too, so they can play an even game.
Yea he didn’t believe it to be fair
Extremely respectful sportsmanship
U sure? 👀
Didn't look like it
@@unicockboy1666 he actually did they obviously didnt show anything here? What u lookin
@@unicockboy1666 just review the game and you're going to see it, he could just get into a complicated position and Magnus would've lost on time
I also want to praise the opponent for fair play
His opponent showed true sportsmanship🙌
The opponent let his time run out until both players had 30 seconds, showed a lot of sportsmanship there
he used his time
It's a pity what the internet cuts out. The opponent was very respectful and did not want the game to start but the referee had to start. And later he deliberately let about 1.5 minutes pass so it could still be a fair match.
He gave time odds to his opponent, Legend!
And his opponent declined it
idiot. his opponent ran down his own clock too. give credit to both players
Both legends
> *Arrives late*
> *Shows sportsmanship*
> *Wins the match*

(inspired from another comment)
@@vinbin423 yeah 🗿💀
sportsmanship of his opponent aswell he dropped down on time on purpose
*Explains the context*
*Refuses to elaborate further*
**Leaves**
absolute chadd
Respeeectt for ur honesty and the credit
And still won the game
his opponent wasted time tho
he went really slow with every move on purpose
@@swiftieforever1989he would have timed out if the opponent wanted but he(opponent) showed sportsmanship
Man literally pulled his chair out and sat down before moving💀💀
His opponent actually recuested that they would wait for Magnus but he wasn't allowed. On top of that when Magnus arrived his opponent wasted time by "thinking" and made the game fair.
“I was a little high.”
- Magnus
Actually he didn't arrive late. He just needed 34 secs
Magnus wasn't late. He was foreseeing the game while getting some cardio in.
Massive respect to the other guy for his sportsmanship spirit.
Magnus carslen is just so good in chess 😮♟️
He even looked like he just woke up from sleep 🤣 (give the perfect "student late for exam" vibe)
His opponent earned my respect.
He arrives late, looks as if he just woke up and had no time to take a shower, proceeds to win with just 31 seconds.
Regular Everyday Magnus Carlsen W
That guy in class who never studies but still tops the class🫡
He also lost two more seconds adjusting the pieces during the game what a LEGEND he is!
The name is Magnus carlsen🔥
Magnus : "I'm not in danger,i am the danger"
This is unbelievable! You couldn't write it! The GOAT!
shout out to his opponent a real respectful man
Literally every Main character ever 😭
He sacrifice time 😂
You are not mentioning that his opponent wasted his time on porpuse after he arrived so they have equal time to play
There is no measure on this guy. He is in a league of his own
He always plays "Come Late Gambit"
Bro came bro conquered bro left
Yeah, so I got stuck in the traffic, my alarm didn't go off and a dog ate my homework.
-Magnus
30 second just like 30 minutes for GOAT
His opponent showed sportsmanship appreciate him pls
What does his opponent do
@@Chesswalk570 The opponent let his own clock run down too, so they would have the same time left
For those who haven’t watched the full thing, his opponent actually stalled his own clock to make it a fair game for Magnus. Now that’s true sportsmanship.
TOP Gm MAGNUS
the true top G
Opponent was dreaming about his win against magnus 😂
His opponent played slow to make it fair
still adjusted his pieces 2 times in between
Carlsen dont need time,Time need him
Sheesh the Magnus drip 😮💨
Other level confidence in magnus charlsen
Carlsen making prep during his running 🏃💨💨. 30 seconds? Oh it's plenty of time 😂😂😂
-Arrive late
-Drip over the world
-Win
-Leave

Magnus Carlsen
Magnus looked like he just woke up 🥱
Arrive late
Win the game in 30 seconds
Leave without elaboration
bro gave the excuss we give in school😂😂
Champion for a reason
He reminded me of that mysterious collge students who're always late, never ask questions, but has a perfect GPA
The opponent didn't even want the officials to start the timer in the first place. Respect to the opponent.
When your opponent play blitz but you play bullet moment
man did real life berserk
The fact that he still used his time to hand shake, absolute gentlemen all qround
Bro litreally predicted the whole game while in traffic😂
Plz sir make full video on this match🙏❤️❤️❤️
Already made
Bro just waiting for his defeat🤣🤣
Shouldn’t have postponed the round for him
The round wasn't postponed for him but for some other reason ig
Not for him. The lists got delayed a bit.
That dude coming in late just looks like how geniuses are portrayed in movies
He was trying to be FISCHER
His game speaks for itself. 🤣👌
Magnus is a legend😊
Even late he took time to shake the opponent's hand
Mad Respect
I think if you don't you actually forfeit the game
He needs just 30 sec to win his whole game
Doesn't matter to him whether he has 3 mins or 30 seconds
he will get destroyed if he faced to players like Hikaru, Fabi, Nepo, etc.
This is what being the BEST looks like
Bro always stuck in traffic💀
- arrive
- win the game
- leave
simple asf xd
The traffic jams in Almaty are getting ridiculous every year, moreover, the air pollution. Other than that, it is a great city! Come visit
The traffic gambit, just brilliant.
But how did he win explain it ???
Opponent resigned
Respect to his opponent for delaying his own clock making it more of a fair game
Common W Magnus 🔥
I watched the match, his opponent deliberately took a long time for his first moves to even out the clock. Respect to both 👊
Kazakhstan Казахстан 🇰🇿
Дадад мы поняли Казахстан, Казахстан
🥶
respect to his opponent for letting him win
Bobby Fisher is so proud
he wasnt late he was berserking
his left hand didnt know other hand won the game 😅😂
That's wild
It's not quite as wild when you realise Kovalev was a true gentleman and actively wasted time for the first few moves to even the clock back out after he was told he had to start the match
Sir aap mehnat kar rhe ho hamare liye bass yahi toh TH-cam par chahiye 😭, Thank you so much.
Others: dress like a gentleman in black suit.
Magnus: wears a hoodie from last night and didn't take shower because he's late
What a chad
I love the fact that carlsen really doesnt give a shit about being late cuz he's the goat in chess
and that’s called the magnus gambit
That's enough to prove that magnus is the chess God !
Dudes a marketing genius lol
To be fair the opponent passed a lot of his own time for a fair sport
That dude had no idea his first opponent will be the next world champion for a decade
He even took the time to shake the hand.
Coming late means he had a better plan
Anish somehow manages to get to every single clip and video of the tournament possible.
Bro these clips did Kovalev dirty, he literally killed his own time to make it even.
That's what you called sportsmanship.
Sometimes you lose to win everyone's respect. 😂
Guys don't believe him,he's actually waking up late.....and we love it
Magnus is an mvp
Maybe all that was planned by him and staff, just to win with 30 seconds and call more atention.
You gain 2 seconds every move without that he was done for
Dont give magnus 30secs.. its enough to bet you . . 😂
Bruh imagine losing to a guy with only 30 seconds left 💀
Only thing can beat him is traffic.
