Usually kids who are a target of bullying is because they are socially awkward (with some other factors), not assertive enough and/or have a low self esteem and self image. Other kids focus in on that, especially if the bullied kid has no or very few (actual) friends. Now here you have a kid who's actually fully advertising himself as a target right from the get go at his first day of school. He's essentially putting on a big billboard on his head saying "I'm a target for bullying". Those motorcycle dudes are good to give him a boost but it's only temporarily, they won't be there in class, during breaks or after school. Bullies don't care about them either, they know this too. Sure, it makes for a nice tv moment and I bet those bikers feel good about it too, they have good and honest intentions but don't kid yourself this won't stop him being bullied at all. If anything, jealousy would make it even worse. How I know this? I was bullied at school for years, even had a nick name, they called me little rat. Fun times.

my son was badly bullied at school he took it for 6 years then grew up to be a 6 ft 5 bouncer and met one of his old bullies at a venue you can imagine the rest .
These bikers are brutal looking ANGELS! Where were they when I was in school. I was bullied everyday. I'm 61 and never attended any reunion. In college i I wasn't bullied. I'll never forget how i was treated back then.
This doesn't stop bullying the kids that bully him will just find someone else to bully... teach the kid to defend himself and others and the bully stops.. I'm living proof of it.. bullied my whole high school year till the day I stood up to him.. let's just say he never bullied me again..

I was a bully as a kid. Really mean words never physical but that can be even worse! Was not until years later that I realized what I did and it still haunts me more often than you can believe. I can only imagine how the people I impacted feel about it today. I hope they are happy and prospering. Sorry!
its good you realize your mistakes. Everyone should get a chance to correct themselves. You should try to reach out to kids you picked on as a kid and apologize to them as however old you get you never forget the bullying. It will assure them that people can change and satisfy you aswell.
@@iksukekw I am working on those things of the past and one of the rules is trying to avoid causing harm. Talking to the person could potentially make them think of things long forgotten and harm them again. Ultimately, I need to just focus on being a better person today, and help future generations not repeat my mistakes.

31 years old, I was bullied constantly during school. Every day until the day I left. The things they did and said still bother me. Never underestimate how badly bullying can affect a child. These people are saints.
