    This was great! I’m familiarizing myself with public domain images as a beginner designer. I had stumbled on your Etsy digital masterclass video and now loving all your other helpful tips snd resources! Flowers would be a helpful one as suggested in another comment. Also, I saw you have an affinity photo video and that is my current program of choice. So anymore on that I’d love too😍 I’m creating art and designs for crafters to download for decoupage ☺️

    Wow, great! Thank you very much for this resource. I just really wonder how one can come across such treasures... Was it by chance or intentional search?

    Awesome share especially with Halloween coming up. May I request some embroidery and flower patterns for your next video, please. I just cannot find appropriate PD images that allow me to trace and create coloring books with. I would really appreciate it if you can take the time to do that and share it with us. Thank you in advance.

    If I have anatomy books am I allowed to scan and use the prints from it?

    • @craftystax
      @craftystax  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the books. If the books are really old (like 100 years old) then they would probably be in the public domain and you can use the pictures however you want. Otherwise, the book would be copyrighted so you would not be legally permitted to copy the designs and sell them.

    I've just discovered your channel today - love the videos I've seen so far. What would be the easiest way to remove the background cleanly when you're separating out intricate images likes this? Did you trace them in something like Inkscape?

    • @craftystax
      @craftystax  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback! Yes exactly - if the image is black and white (or near white), then tracing it to a clean vector is my preferred method: th-cam.com/video/oWL8Qc7vTbk/w-d-xo.html
