Main Theme - Newer Super Mario Bros Wii [NoteBlock Remix]

Well if it isn't the theme that started it all for me. Just over 7 years ago, I was fully immersed in the Wii hacking scene. I loved the idea of creating my own Mario games and the Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros Wii modding communities were out to do just that. Newer Super Mario Bros Wii was the top dog for all NSMBW hacking, with a completely new set of levels and worlds with a plethora of custom-coded maps and mechanics and of course a new soundtrack. Everybody on the modding forums wanted to be the person to make the next BIG hack. Though very few got made and were successful, I really wanted to be a part of one of these modding teams. Everybody was a level designer and I didn't have enough confidence in myself as a graphic artist to do visuals, so I decided to teach myself how to edit MIDIs in Mixcraft 6 and become a "composer" for the "New Super Luigi Wii" team. Needless to say that project didn't go anywhere, but the time spent on it did encourage me to improve my skills and I began the NoteBlock channel as a way to archive some of the crappy things I made. Well now 7 years later that crappy archive channel is now a crappy channel with over 100K subs. Huh. Thank you all for this amazing journey, and thank you Skawo, Treeki, antee, Tempus, DrumJ8 and the rest of the Newer team for indirectly inspiring the creation of the NoteBlock channel!
