First video I've seen that pretty clearly explains all the aspects of the jerk version vs the "regular" platform. Thank you and well done.

I have been waiting for someone to explain how to trim the jerk changer. Thank you sir for sharing. Also, I appreciate you explaining how dense to wrap.

Great video. Love how you speed up the repetitive sections and slow down for the explanations. Great teaching here. Thank you.

Not many people out there showing this tie, so thank you for that.
There's just one thing I can't continue to ignore.
Why are you using UV resin to finish each section?
Its like every other video I watch now, people use UV to finish the heads on their ties.
This makes absolutely ZERO sense. Dont get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of the product, but this is not the application its suited for. It has little to no penetration into the thread wraps, and the bit that MIGHT penetrate won't set because it isnt exposed to the light!
Standard cement or thin acrylic super glue is FAR superior for securing thread wraps.
UV is best used for shaping heads body, wing, or head materials. You can use it on thread wraps AFTER sealing them with proper penetrating cement/glue to give a bit of added protection too, but UV alone is inviting failure. I discovered this the hard way when I too was once so enamored with it I used it in place of head cement. I had many flies become unraveled after one or two feisty smallmouth. Nothing like flies coming apart in the middle of a hot bite to kill momentum.

If we had flies unraveling at the thread wraps after using UV...we would not be using UV resin. None of us on staff have had this problem.

Would be cool to know some of the top Wade fishing flies you would recommend. Since it presents a different set of challenges and advantages.
