- my first time ever racing Bathurst hillclimb. Cross the border hillclimb round.
People from Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales all compete up bathurst.
Saturday is going up the cutting ( the esses )unfortunately it rained before lunch so i only had 2 dry runs.
Sunday is going up mountain straight. First run up i couldnt see the racing line until i was mid corner but I worked it out on the second. My third lap up my tyres were too hard and i almost spun out on the first corner. They closed the track before the end of the 4th run.
We camped over night and raced all weekend. Definitely going to be a yearly thing. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Great sound, but you seem a little too frightened to rev it.
The rev limit is only 5200. Still on a safe tune.
@@stoddartsclubman2897 oh right. Thanks for the info. I would like the engine in mine. 😊
Much better, first vid needed more zoom to see the cars..
Great sounding engine.
You need zero mechanical empathy to get the best out of that engine.
everything has been working for a long time now. id love to do some upgrades but its a little out of my budget at the moment.
cool car, whats the rpm height?
5200 then it stops making power
@@stoddartsclubman2897 is that just the stock engines limits? I don't know anything about those cars. Seems highly modified
Its actually the turbo’s limits. If i had a slightly bigger turbo or more boost it would pull a little harder.
What was dyno result?
147hp on a safe tune. i have'nt been been driving this car for long. Nor racing FWD cars long so everything is still newish to me.
What engine is in it??
1293cc aluminum head/1.5 roller rockers with a dcoe45 blow threw carby. turbo is a m10 garret. the whole car was built in the 80's by my father. I have just tried to get it going after 20 years of sitting in the shed.
