I did more research on trinkle tinkle.
On the monk and trane recording, they play 32 bars for the solos and do the 6686 thing on the head only. it would be really nice to get an alternate version of it where the blowing is 32 bars but the heads we go back to the weird stuff. You could even do an intro on that one like monk does instead of the direct count off!

@@tonywolton its close.. melody happens to work i can hear it too haha but definitely changes later in the A section. but the first couple bars are the same changes!
All of them have basically the same chord progression.
