great backing track man! I'm just learning the tune so I don't exactly know if they're "extra", but the "extra" 2-5's as opposed to the real book changes are super refreshing and give a lot more tonicizing motion! Do you recommend any versions that inspired your playing on this tune? Thanks again!

Thanks Josh, glad you like the track. Yes, the real books are an approximation at best. I never used them much. When I learn a standard I just try to check out as many available versions as possible. I've always learned different changes from playing with different people too. There's no right or wrong honestly. Check out Keith Jarrett's version, he has similar changes, I remember picking up some ideas from that standards live recording.
