Ten seconds into the story I KNEW the girl knew she was being followed. She did. If she planned to get some weed or some alcohol that day when she went out, that plan changed quick.
not cool Right?! How did this P.I. dude NOT pick up on that?! Or, did he, but he just wanted to seem better at his job than he actually is? (Which, if that’s the case, it wasn’t exactly the best story for him to tell in an online video. Haha.)

The daughter knew the guy was following her for sure. Female stores usually have mirrors everywhere and she reversed at a corner. She was just trying to shake him. She probably has a video on youtube about how she was almost kidnapped.

You don't reverse a corner to shake somebody. You do it to see if you are being followed and who it is. She reversed twice, she knew for sure.
You hurry down a street and quickly take the nearest corner if you want to shake somebody.

I've never been in a relationship but if you have to go as far as hiring a private investigator to figure out if your significant other is cheating... Your relationship and the trust of the marriage is already broken.

@@iluvhopndballet it's probably because we are normally raised to be more aware of our surroundings since we're at a physical disadvantage when it comes to men. We have to be more cautious cause if we get into a situation, it'll be difficult to get out unscathed.

@@izaf9511 detectives usually work with the police in either homicide, drugs, or domestic abuse etc. But private investigators are hired by people to investigate someone else usually.

You'll be surprised how strict some parents are, I wasn't allowed to go to the mall with my friends when I was a teen.

The daughter would’ve 100% known that the guy was following her. I can’t speak for all women but I know for me I’m always hyper aware of people following me, especially men and it’s terrifying. I would’ve been going into shops to see if they were actually going everywhere I went and if they did then I’d go back out again to see if it wasn’t just a coincidence. It’s so scary.

That just seems creepy on your end, like... After the first mile or so I'd have come to the conclusion that she just wants to be left alone.

Idk about other girls but I can sense someone following me, I’ll look in store windows, I’ll sit down somewhere, I’ll turn all sorts of different corners, I’ve even gone up to a couple people and said “can you’s pretend to know me, and look over there to see if this persons following me?”
I’ve been followed a few times (I know it was being followed instead of someone just happening to walk the same way I was... I was even followed in my car a couple times, but one time in particular was the scariest.)
The scariest time was about 8-9pm I got off the train during a weekday so there was still plenty of people coming home from work, wasn’t scary when people follow you off the train for a bit
So this guy was following me for a minute or two, then walked past me (so obviously no big deal at all), then he walked down a street that I needed to to get home (my house was only 10-15 minute walk from the train station) and again it was no big deal because plenty of people walked that way as a little short cut, so I was now walking behind him and he walks up this hill and I turn left into my street.. and he comes down the hill and into my street... then a few houses down was mine and I walk up the driveway and he turns around and walks off...
That was the scariest and closest time to anything bad happening because I was alone, It’s a quiet-ish neighbourhood, not many street lights
F*cking hell, that's scary. Tbh, I wouldn't have gone to my house because then the guy knows where I live. Can't say for sure where I'd go since I wasn't in the situation but I'd call the cops while continuing to lead the guy around

She knew you were following her, all people assigned female at birth have the highest awareness for there surroundings when something is suspicious. He probably gave her a heart attack, she did all the moves you learn to see if someone following you and she was probably so relieved to see that you were gone after she turned around
