- Back in the 1950s when my father was caring for his young family, he would often cycle the three or so miles to a Spring Well outside Omagh in County Tyrone, to collect water for his children who may be ill...there were nine of us, so illness was ever present in one form or another! My father infused the water with wishes and blessings as he cycled home, making the water a powerful and healing drink of life. Let us not forget how to benefit from living water...it is the Uisce Beatha, water of life! (pronounced ish-ka ba-ha) Name of artist; Pawel Jonca.

As you are reading the emails from the people who were depressed and linked to your videos I cannot help but notice that gorgeous little vignette from inside of the cottage window looking out. How wonderful it could be for depressed people to have a little view like this so they too could connect with the natural world every day. It could be as simple as planting little flowering trees and shrubs then hang a couple bird feeders and putting our a bird bath. This is something very easy to maintain, inexpensive and brings so much life to people who need an emotional boost and something to look forward to. I worked for a wildlife conservation foundation in a setting of 1200 heavily wooded acres for many many years and we always had feeders outside our office windows. It brought our staff together and especially in winter when all the little critters came to feed on what the birds dropped it was so lovely to look outside. For many the world becomes very small and bringing nature to their windows could make all the difference. Thanks for sharing this little video! 💕😘🐝
Collete my mum is Irish from Kilcreevanty in Tuam Galway and we live in the inner city in England but my mum lives very much like you and her garden that is quite large for the inner city is just like a mini woodland she has a Concker tree that stands at at least 50ft high that I planted as a small child it bares hundreds of conkers every autumn she has beautiful birds and foxes and squirrels 🐿 that climb into her window from the Elder. 💚🙏🏽

I’m so glad that I found your channel a couple years ago. You say what I feel but can’t articulate so well. The feeling, as you know, is soul deep and not everyone in our modern world understands it. I feel the blood of mother earth and my ancestors coursing through my veins, I just wish I could voice it better to those around me.

Dear Colette - What a delightful surprise - and one i will always cherish - to hear you read my email on this video - and even more pleased it resonated with others here as well. I cannot help be utterly fascinated that 'all' of us here - across 'time' and 'space' - (which as mere 'dimensions' melt when watching and listening to your films) can interconnect in such a 'magical' - so much more than 'digital' way. Please forgive all the inverted commas but sometimes words seem inadequate to explain the feelings evoked as we 'walk' with you in the Bealtaine world which is unique and yet completely reflective of the 'totality' of 'Mother Nature' herself. Hi Colette! I LOVE the print you received; itś a beautiful depiction of our Mother, The Divine Feminine, and the name of it, ¨the seed,¨ is so perfect; it is absolutely stunning. We ARE nature, itś our loving family. I enjoy every video you make for us. As always, you inspire me so deeply. I must check my bird feeders and re-fill them. I have lots of birds, many crows which I absolutely love. Crows are so beautiful and smart. I read that they really love peanuts in the shell, I am going to start leaving some out for them and gradually introduce myself to them - try to make friends with them. Other people do, and I believe I might be able to as well. Blessed Be sweet Sister!

This channel is doing it for me, Collette. I have been reading the Cottage book you sent. You are such an inspiration. I look forward to the next few weeks as I plant the seeds I have been ordering all fall and winter- ( again!) My garlic that I planted ( bulbs) before Thanksgiving, is up. I order from an organic farm in Washington State USA. Delish!
One final note… my 12 year old bundle of fuzz, Essence, kitty- is entranced by you and each video. I turn one on every morning as I get ready for work. She lies in her nest in the bedroom and stares at your beautiful world and listens to you and the birds as we begin our day. Lovely & Bless YOU!

you can either laugh or cry. but at least your still alive, and feeling. problem is, a life without purpose and meaning, is not a life, people have to much to lose, by stating LOUDY their real thoughts, but us, old, been through the mill and are still here, can say it for them, PEOPLE MATTER their not just here to pay taxes, for no return. so,, seeing you achieve, what others cannot, is really heart warming. so thank you, for giving so many lives meaning namaste

Someone once told me that, unless maybe in extreme winter conditions, wild birds don't really need feeding. I answered that even though that might be so, I do need them! I feel abondonned if there aren't any birds in my garden (well, rather backyard).. Blessings to you all!!!

i have one of those oil lamps, I grew up with those, we did not have electricity, running water
I have a large, deep bowl that I fill daily with water so the birds can cool down in the hot weather, I give wild bird seed as well but I think they are more grateful for the water...

I saw some deer this morning when I was feeding "my stray cats" yes, I feed them, they are feral cats, but it is freezing and I'm afraid for them. The mother, and one tiny gray kitten. They come and go, because of an abandoned house nextdoor... So I feed them from the back porch as I don't use that door in winter, so it's where my dogs won't bother them.
