This video is so well made it's mind boggling. I couldn't think of anything funny to say I'm just floored at the quality of the visuals and the everything else
I was reading that list and one that caught my eye especially was how you think others see you as lazy. Now, I don't know you personally, but I've been watching you for a long time, and I can confidently say that you are DEFINITELY NOT lazy when making these videos. The quality of animation and art is absolutely amazing. I really want to do animated storytelling one day on youtube and I can only hope to make videos of the same quality as yours
I have severe anxiety and my doctor WILL NOT help me. I've tried ssris, snris snd tricyclics but nothing works. My doctor doesn't seem to take me seriously and idk what to do because my insurance won't let me change doctors. he won't take me seriously because as a man l've been taught to hide my emotion and I don't even know how to express it anymore. I really need help and I can't seem to get it from anywhere... I'm getting close to the unspeakable at this point. I have nothing to live for I have absolutely no one that genuinely cares about me without being paid to care about me. This life is f*cked and im just about done with it. I really need someone that can help me and idk what I can do at this point😭 im getting close and idk what else I can do. I need someone to help and for something to change. But no one will help me change anything.
I grew up with clinical anxiety (I got diagnosed when I was super young, since I was having existential dread that resulted in night terrors and even chronic insomnia, and it’s really nice to see a creator I love make an educational video about a topic that applies to me so heavily. Another tip that helps is the 8-4-8 rule: take in a deep breath for 8 seconds, hold it for 4, and then let it out in 8 seconds. Dunno why it helps, but it do.
Ahhh this is real. I was diagnosed with panic disorder in February, it’s already much better as I have found therapy and a lot of other things but good video! One of the only ones I can genuinely relate to “Hydraulic press vs ribs”
Its always nice to see someone dive into anxiety and ALSO give options on how to help lessen it - so many people talk about it like its just something you have to grit your teeth through all the time - but sometimes you get stuck in that and only make it worse for yourself. Another great tip is keeping sour candy on hand - it can shock your system similar to the cold water - while being more available when out and about.
Huh, I’ll be trying that! But agreed, a lot of the time it’s not helpful to put it as something inescapable. Ofc it’s a lifelong thing for some people but there are ways to manage it and therefore make it less prevalent in your life. It does get better, takes some searching and experimenting, but it can get better
As someone who’s had GAD, or generalized anxiety disorder, since early childhood, anxiety never goes away for me-I’ve just learned how to manage it through medications, therapy, lifestyle changes, etc.
Same!! I’ve gotten so much better at managing mine but it still breaks through some times. I was lucky enough to have people in my life notice when I was really young and get me help pretty early in life
I felt a total lack of anxiety for one of the first times ever sometime this year. It lasted for a couple hours, and it was such a new experience for me that I genuinely shocked myself once my brain recognized what was happening. Like, I surprise/fright jumped (which is ironic). Coming from someone who's also had permanent anxiety for as long as they can remember, it's wild realizing that some people DON'T feel like this 24/7, and that the feeling of peace is their normal.
I miss riding a bike! My anxiety was, indeed, a lot less impactful when I could ride my bike. I loved the feel of the air after powering my way up the street! I wish I could ride one again, but my knees do this funny little thing where they _dislocate_ and I'm in a wheelchair now because of it.
This video "is" my 26 year old son living in Edmonton. I hope he watches this. He is the one who introduced me to your videos, so I'm pretty sure he will. Merry Christmas 🎄.
Its really validating seeing stuff life this. As someone with professionally diagnosed ADHD and anxiety disorders, its really cool seeing a creator who talks about it. This isn't stuff I talk about often, but these are both things that greatly effect me in my daily life. It's very cool seeing a creator who has genuine experience with stuff like this and isn't just trying to be "quirky" or some bs. Thanks gingerpale

As long as you find it fulfilling to create im sure you will find an audience. Your style is charming and the writing is interesting keep up the good work bud!!
I'm honestly mindblown by how 1 to 1 this is with my life and ongoing struggle with crippling anxiety, it's exactly the same in every single way and only continued to mirror what I'm dealing with every day. I've never related to a video as much as I do with this one and it feels incredibly cathartic to know someone out there is just like me and that we really can get better if we take the right steps. So a huge thank you GingerPale, I'm gonna go buy a bike!
Awesome video, this one really resonates with me! Been going through panic attacks this year. Like you said, after going through 100 of them, you realize they won't kill you! Felt myself becoming a hypochondriac too. Exercise, good food, no nicotine, close to no alcohol, and less caffeine, have lowered my anxiety IMMENSELY. Keep up the good work everyone, much love.
@3:33 Well Acktually.... Life expectancy in Ye Olde Days wasn't as cut and dry as "Life expectancy was just 30 so the oldest person you know is, like, 27". That life expectancy is the average, and that average is pulled waaaaaaaaaaaaay down by half the kids not making it to 5 years old. So the actual oldest person you know is upwards of 50 or 60. People lived this long so damn often that we evolved menopause, a period of life where women who successfully make it to their late 40s are spared the danger of childbirth because the wisdom of having a few really old ladies around is so valuable that our genes literally selected for nonbreeding individuals. Which is kind of crazy if you think about it. Our genes selected for NON-breeding because in the long run it meant MORE people survived! (Scientists also theorize that this is why gay people who never reproduce don't just disappear-- Because it has been genetically advantageous in our distant evolutionary past to have some random adults in the tribe who will never produce offspring but who will form mate bonds and take in orphans of family members who died. It's just a theory at this point though.)
@@scylla1772 Gay people can be murderous too. True equity means recognizing that we are all part of the humans experience, ugliness and all, and queer folks, disabled folks, and neurodivergent folks aren't less human and less capable of the ugly parts of the human experience just because they're not straight neurotypical able-bodied individuals. Also, if it's 10,000BC and you choose to have gay sex instead of securing access to food and a clean water source, you won't be able to take care of your family's orphans because you'll be too busy dying, so yes, gay people had to fight too.

ITS BEEN A MINUTE, YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE WHOLE VIDEO HOW COULD YOU HAVE KNOWN THAT IT SAYS EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU HOW COULD YOU LIE TO US LIKE THAT DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT YOURSELF YOULIAR
woke up this morning having a mini panic attack, this is the first video on my recommended. youtube knows too much. one of the things i do to help is to just throw up doodles and words on a piece of paper, just whatever is in my head. helps alot cleaning the recurring thoughts that can cause the anxiety. the negative is i draw faces and things like what you imagine people in a schizophrenic episode would see (because its easier to draw than fine smooth details). my mum found one of the peices of papers and thought i was going insane and offered to get me a doctors appointment.
I had hypocondriac anxiety for 4 years (since 2020) and I didn’t know there was a name for this sort of anxiety. This is why I stopped searching symptoms for diseases online. Fortunately, I took care of myself and now it very rarely happens.
genuinely i love your videos so much, i love learning new things with you in a funny silly way that makes me actually laugh, and your art is so silly and satisfying to look at that it makes every video absolutely worth the wait. plus!! every time you upload, i get to watch the newest video and then go on a binge rewatching all your other videos!!
I’d say the last time I felt a panic attack was a few weeks ago when I drank some coffee while I was trying to get work done for class. Out of nowhere my body started trembling, my heart was going a mile a minute, and my chest felt tighter and compressed. All I could really do was bounce my leg to relieve some level of pressure that my body was experiencing, all while pushing through with my schoolwork. Caffeine definitely is not great for those who deal with anxiety, I would definitely not recommend it. Some advice I can give to those based on my own experiences, is listening to calmer and soothing music, watching a show or movie you enjoy (that isn’t going to make your emotions intensified), or just chatting with someone you feel comfortable with to focus on that person and take your mind off how you’re feeling. There’s also the whole five sense thing of naming the stuff you can hear, smell, see, and touch. I found that works great too and can do a good job grounding you.
I genuinely resonate with this video with my heart and soul, I'm 16 and I spent 6 months of my life last year constantly anxious about if I was gonna die or if I had a disease n stuff it was THE WORST time of my entire life
It really doesn't matter with the upload schedule. You're an animator so it takes even longer than expected to make something. It always does. Quality over quickness!! :D
Aww pat pat. ADHD will really screw with things (reading your stressors) and I relate SO HARD. The people that get it KNOW that you just can't remember things and don't think you're rude. I really really like your videos and they're so freaking quirky and funny and I cannot even imagine how hard it must be to be you, having to upload, having an audience *shudder* and trying to be a person while also trying to keep up expectations. Good luck my friend (parasocially, ofc) ❤
I lived my whole life not knowing I was having anxiety attacks. I'd be on the swings when I was 6 years old, getting pushed by my dad, and it would feel like I had trouble breathing. I would be practicing for a musical in high school, and I'd feel my whole body wanting to tense up. When my boyfriend or friends were driving me around, I'd feel it, no matter how much I trusted their driving. Only when I was mostly through college did I realized that it wasn't what people feel when they are nervous. That's what I thought it was, normal person nervousness. I self diagnosed, but confirmed it with my doctor pretty fast. I dunno if that has helped, but knowing exactly what's happening is nice, being able to tell others watching me trying to become a ball to not worry, it's just anxiety. That's kinda nice. Glad the world is growing in the ways of mental health.
Thank you so much for this gingerpale :) i really need some advice for my mental health so i really want to thank you. also another thing to relieve stress is doing something you like
I have been experiencing scary panic attacks recently and I am so glad to see a video speaking out about it. It's been so scary as I am 25 and have always had anxiety in small doses but ever since having my daughter 3 years ago I've been having full body shaking panic attacks. I haven't seen a doctor or anything since I don't have the income and I don't want pills shoved at me. So I just deal and your tips are very helpful. Thank you for sharing your struggles so some of us don't feel as crazy. 😅
I have generalized anxiety disorder and was working out 4 times a week, due to a health issue I haven't been able to work out at all and yeah, noticed that I was way less anxious while I was working out so even if you don't notice much of a difference when you work out once keep it consistent and it does actually help!
4:45 Don’t feel ashamed, League of Legends can induce anxiety in anyone. It certainly does for me, which is why I avoid it (and almost all MOBAs) like the frickin’ plague.

@@lukewiebe7809your making me anxious so I’m going to ride my bike now don’t tell my wife
woke up this morning having a mini panic attack, this is the first video on my recommended. youtube knows too much. one of the things i do to help is to just throw up doodles and words on a piece of paper, just whatever is in my head. helps alot cleaning the recurring thoughts that can cause the anxiety. the negative is i draw faces and things like what you imagine people in a schizophrenic episode would see (because its easier to draw than fine smooth details). my mum found one of the peices of papers and thought i was going insane and offered to get me a doctors appointment.
3:46 lil dancy man🕺
I had hypocondriac anxiety for 4 years (since 2020) and I didn’t know there was a name for this sort of anxiety. This is why I stopped searching symptoms for diseases online. Fortunately, I took care of myself and now it very rarely happens.
W’s✨🔥 patiently waited 7 months for this masterpiece 😂
Just a quick little waiting room
3:45 - 3:51 was a hilarious sequence that I truly love to see. The amount of effort and humour you put into these videos shows. Keep it up!
🥺❤️
Or that being online can increase the chance of being anxious, not just the other way around.
How is this so relatable?? Like I relate with every single point. I really wanna get over my health and social anxiety
2:10 that poster
After months of watching this green man I don’t know what the poster mean
What about it

I, too, live in edmonton. It's dark all the time and that sucks.
I have anxiety when gingerpale doesnt upload for 7 months
genuinely i love your videos so much, i love learning new things with you in a funny silly way that makes me actually laugh, and your art is so silly and satisfying to look at that it makes every video absolutely worth the wait. plus!! every time you upload, i get to watch the newest video and then go on a binge rewatching all your other videos!!
He’s back
I’d say the last time I felt a panic attack was a few weeks ago when I drank some coffee while I was trying to get work done for class.
4:31 YOU THINK THE BAD SMELL IS CARBON MONOXIDE TOO?? IM NOT ALONE🙏🏻😭
I genuinely resonate with this video with my heart and soul, I'm 16 and I spent 6 months of my life last year constantly anxious about if I was gonna die or if I had a disease n stuff it was THE WORST time of my entire life
gingerbucket
It really doesn't matter with the upload schedule. You're an animator so it takes even longer than expected to make something. It always does. Quality over quickness!! :D
2:48 did he explode?GINGERPALE NO!
WOO HOO ANXIETY! I HATE IT!
"Probably because social media and content creation allows for you to live through a different Persona"
So true 😅😓
Hello Gingerpale.
Every time gingerPale uploads, I remember he exists but every time he upload’s it’s amazing.

As someone who has anxiety, Genuinely. No greater fear can be felt than seeing someone else in an obviously dangerous situation.

42 and still loving popple 2:31
I have been experiencing scary panic attacks recently and I am so glad to see a video speaking out about it. It's been so scary as I am 25 and have always had anxiety in small doses but ever since having my daughter 3 years ago I've been having full body shaking panic attacks. I haven't seen a doctor or anything since I don't have the income and I don't want pills shoved at me. So I just deal and your tips are very helpful. Thank you for sharing your struggles so some of us don't feel as crazy. 😅
3:21 🫲😲🫱
I have generalized anxiety disorder and was working out 4 times a week, due to a health issue I haven't been able to work out at all and yeah, noticed that I was way less anxious while I was working out so even if you don't notice much of a difference when you work out once keep it consistent and it does actually help!
THE KING HAS RETURNED
You're not alone on any of this Gingerpale
4:45 Don’t feel ashamed, League of Legends can induce anxiety in anyone. It certainly does for me, which is why I avoid it (and almost all MOBAs) like the frickin’ plague.
Hey Gingerpale 👋. I really like how your thumbnail turned out! The subtle change you did really made it more catching 😀👍
1:33 Erm you made an error. F=m×g 🤓
