  • The 2015 Chrysler 300 gets a big makeover. Don't worry, it hasn't lost any of its hansome looks, just a little sleeker and a little meaner with the 300S. This is what I call a cross country cruiser.

    this is my 3rd 300, the first was a 2006, did 300,000kms no issues, second was a 2012 did 100,000 but crashed it, very safe car, now I have a 2015 platinum, very well refined

    That is a very attractive car in that color and trim. The 300 has become overlooked in the past few years which is a shame. An AWD full sized sedan with that level of performance and comfort at that price point, is a bargain.

    Beautiful car. Always get compared to an Impala and Avalon, but is light years ahead of both. Those cars dont turn heads. Ive owned a 2008 and now a 2012 300S and the car is nothing short of spectacular, and for a 40000$ price tag competes with the likes of BMW 5 series, Lexus, and Mercedes C Class series with ease, for half the price. Like someone said below, something about these cars (durango, cheeroke, 300, charger etc) has a old school head turning feel. Every time I pull up to a show my car turns heads, also has all the bells and whistles and a HEMI/SRT opton to boot? You cant ask for much more American muscle feel - even though FIAT and mercedes influenced, brand is very much american feelings. Love my 300 and the new styling is even better.

    Chrysler 300 is a good car, not a 100,000 Dollar car, I enjoy my 300 it is very much, very reliable car, unlike a Chevrolet, nothing but issues with Chevys, trans, ignitions, engines.
    I know someone that had a blazer had to put 2000 for new trans.
    another, new transfer case only had 60,000 miles.
    never have engine or trans with my chrysler I have 75000.

      @exxusdrugstore300 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      killahki I understand that, and you can get a great big Hemi mill in the 300, it's just that the typical buyer of the 300 isn't looking for big power. Besides, the Dodge Hellcat lineup is like the AMG Black series, adding the 300 would just ruin the car.

    • @killahki
      @killahki 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's the typical buyer for the 300? Surely not someone that could care less about their car. Chrysler is positioning the car to go up against Germans just like Cadillac, yet unlike Cadillac they killed the SRT8. And they have nothing to go up against the CTS V, M, or AMG. I have a modded 06 300C and damn sure would want to buy an 300 Hellcat, because you can have luxury and power just like every other luxury car manufacturer has shown us.

    only dislikes I have of the update are the rotary dial knob and the new grill, the dial is just a terrible way to go, I mean one of the things I look for in a car is a center shifting stick, that just feels most natural to me, the knob just doesn't feel right to me, and in my opinion the grill should have stayed closer to the original, I like how up and in your face the old grill was, , and that it was uninterrupted by the chrysler logo, the new grill just doesn't pop out as much as the old.

    • @andrewruehling7669
      @andrewruehling7669 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't mean paddle shifters on the wheel, I was talking about the dial in the center console that shifts it from park neutral, reverse, etc. I just think it feels so artificial compared to an actual stick

    • @dieseldog00
      @dieseldog00 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Andrew Ruehling Yes I knew you meant the autostick I have one on my car. What I meant was the paddles take the place of the stick b/c you can't shift the knob and Chrysler wanted buyers to have that manual shift option.

    • @vaughnboston148
      @vaughnboston148 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent assessment regarding the dial shifter. Because it is in other products. Theirs no distinction separate it from lesser models. Conventional shifter would remain my preference. The grill doesn't have a integrated look. Neither does the fog lights lower bumper trim. Seems as designers tweaked 300 not continued evolution. The wheels do remind me of Ford models coincidence. Why the 300 SRT got eliminated. Because aesthetically they failed distinguishing it. More aggressively exterior from other 300's. You knew immediately that's a SRT version.
