It does not look like the 'Configuration Tool' is on your website anymore.
Would these work on an aluminum truss roof?
These come with wood screws that’ll need to be drilled into plywood. If you want more specific advice for your setup, give our sales team a call at 903-441-2090-they might have a solution for you!
i see when you place the second panel and angle it into place in a hurricane situation wont this just pull up and fly away since they did not get torked down
Additional instruction or detail needed to attaining a flat no lip install of array.
What is fuzzy: The leveling of panels with 2x mounts pre attached, Once placed and snapped into starter row.
Are the 2x mounts height measured and pre set before taking to roof or are they attached on roof then height raised or lowered by feel?
I’m assuming height of stater row is measured the copied to following rows before lifting to roof.
Leveling should be done on the roof to account for slight variance in shingle flatness.
Sadly, the configuration tool link from the Signature Solar site hasn't been working for more than a month
Hi! Is this the link you are referring to? signaturesolar.com/schneider-xw-sw-configuration-pc-tool/
It is unclear what is meant by "these mounts are only certified for roof slopes over 7 degrees." Is this for grounding, waterproofing, wind, snow, or something else?
It has passed the Miami-Dade County requirements, passing the TAS 100(A) testing for Wind and Wind Driven rain and is certified for roof slopes over 7 degrees.
Is it UL3741 listed?
We've been told that SNR does have 3741 with "type 1" modules but not with "type 2" which they say is like Tesla. If you have any further questions, we recommend reaching our to SNR directly :)
what about if I have a flat roof and I need a 10º angle on my panels how can I achieve this layout
The SnapNrack does not allow for a degree change
Awesome! Nice web tools!
So this is Mounted to the Deck instead of the Rafters Right?
To the decking, yes :)
Is this rated for a TPO roof as well?
Topspeed can be installed a membrane roof (e.g. TPO) as long as the roof has a minimum slope of 7°. Most TPO roofs are flat roofs, and if that is the case, Topspeed would not be the right product to install.
Is there a link for the M1 sealant. Thanks
We don't have a specific link but you can purchase thus at any hardware store!
I can't understand how if we are using micro inverters how they would be mounted with this system.
They are usually mounted behind the panels.
How do you keep leaves from building up under the skirt?
We have this skirting that prevents build up! signaturesolar.com/snapnrack-topspeed-rl-universal-skirt-70-inch-snr-sku-232-02492/
Are they rated to be used in roof mount applications in Florida in hurricane zone? .
yes
How do you avoid leaf detrius forming up behind the skirt? That part seems like a terrible idea.

Sent in 2 tech support emails. Where are you all when we need help?
Hi @JamesAmbrose48 We are here! Our tech inbox is absolutely slammed at the moment with the influx in purchases. We are hiring more team members to get those dealt with asap but for a faster response in the mean time, we do recommend calling into tech support at 903-441-2090 ☀️
I just want an affordable ground mount for 12-16 panels.
If you'd like to reach out to our sales department, they can definitely help you find the most cost effective option! signaturesolar.com/sales/
I can help you with that if you are in the DFW area in TX
Awesome ty
Sealant, Can't Overlap Shingles??? Sounds difficult if your panels and shingles don't line up. What happens if your array is not level, the riser bolt is under the panel?? In m opinion there are way better options.
The riser bolt on the TopSpeed mount is not under the panel, it sticks out behind the panel to make leveling easy. Also, the adjustment to move the mount forward and backward to keep it from overlapping the shingles is right underneath that bolt as well.
I had this question as well but after watching a video by everydaysolar here on youtube I realized that the base has several inches of adjustable slide to allow the foot to be entirely on a single shingle.
You didn’t show running the wires?
The video is aimed to highlight the product itself. The panels showcased in the video were solely for demonstration purposes.
Dear God. EVERY product is a 'game changer'...
Just want something that works, not something that requires the user to roll a polyhedron die to 'change their game'.
Or that sunsets before the warranty expires. Like the eg 4 6500ex. So many problems they just abandoned the whole line. Unfortunately I bought 2 of these things and now they may still support them but limits my options. Inverter flavor of the month club.
@Capoe3 no doubt! I'm dealing with this on a Growatt 6000 right now with them. They helped design the system specifically, now all the sudden its gots an over voltage issue and is no longer rated for the panel array I have built so I have to send it in and wait for them to receive it, then get store credit apparently.....so I can purchase another inverter that will be phased out in 12 months with some other set of specs that no longer apply.....
Hi @themountainwizardprepper If you'd like to email me at engagement@signaturesolar.com I can look into your ticket and see if we can speed up the process at all :)
