And for this particular style you should check out Daniel Schiffer his TH-cam Channel and look for his B-roll videos. Hope this will help:)

  • @khacha6333
    @khacha6333 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Can I ask you how you produced slow motion in 4k in some scenes, my friend? As far as I know, 6400 can shoot 4k at 30 fps. I heard that 1080p has blurry videos. I would be happy if you answer

    • @spirosfilmmaking
      @spirosfilmmaking  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! The title of the video maybe a bit misleading. The slowmotion is recorded in 1080p 120fps but its upscaled in the editing software to 4K which gives the best quality image on TH-cam.

    it's great for a first attempt however there are some issues concerning framing and transition. framing-wise the shots are too close, it's difficult to follow what's happening. for transitions, it's not fluid enough, there are some harsh cuts. but overall, you pulled this off. don't mind my negative reflection, these are my personal feedback. even I'm a self-made filmmaker and I still haven't made such a cool edit yet ^^

    • @spirosfilmmaking
      @spirosfilmmaking  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I do agree with parts of your criticism. I framed the shots close on purpose because the background wasn't nice so I didn't want to show it to much. Not al the transitions are fluid I agree, but I filmed everything in a couple of hours and then you have to deal with the footage that you got. So I tried to make the best of it transition wise.

    Amazing. What do you think about Sigma 18-50 2.8 for cooking video?

    • @spirosfilmmaking
      @spirosfilmmaking  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! If you have proper lighting for indoors then a 2.8 is sufficient in terms of aperture, if not then it’s not enough for indoor! But I wouldn’t recommend A ZOOM lens for these kind of videos, 50mm is way to zoomed in. And ideally you want the pure sharpness of a prime lens especially if you film in HD 120fps. But at 18 mm at aperture 2.8, I’m sure you can get good enoug results as well👍🏻

    Nice video.. bro did you have any issues with the autofocus..? I'm torn between Sony 35mm f1.8 and Sigma 16mm 1.4. what would you recommend...? I shoot mostly videos. Broll, product videos etc

    • @spirosfilmmaking
      @spirosfilmmaking  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The AF works completely fine, no problems at all. I have both lenses. The 35mm will probably be too zoomed in for tight indoor spaces. The OSS helps a bit for handheld shooting. With the sigma you cannot film in 4K handheld if you want to follow the movement of a product/object with your camera. 120 fps slomo handheld shooting works fine though. You will need a gimbal for 4K 25 fps. If you have an a6600 with ibis maybe it will be a different story. I use the 35 mm for human faces. The sigma 16 mm is a very versatile lens, if you zoom in to an object you get awesome bokeh in the background. In conclusion: I would go for the sigma 16 mm in your case:) let me know if you gave any more questions👍🏻

    • @pluviophile2438
      @pluviophile2438 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@spirosfilmmaking thank you very much bro. I own an A6400 and I do not have a gimbal either. If we shoot human faces with Sigma 16mm would it be affected with the lens distortion or can we fix this in post. As I said I mostly shoot videos and currently I own Sony 18-105. So do you think I can compensate the Sony 35mm f1.8 with the zoom capabilities of the Sony 18-105..? And if you were me which one would you pick..?

      @@sammy1real mostly 1080p 120fps upscaled to 4K. I used both autofocus and manual focus. I used the gimbal for about 2/3 of the shots and I did 1/3 handheld. Picture profile: HLG2.
