Dicks out! for the remnants of the Feast of Folly. This is why I love the Hecata in V5. Family reunion as the definitive ending for the flawed Giovanni Chronicles.
I always found the Lhiannan interesting and their Ogham discipline is pretty flavourful and gory even if it's not all that good. Too bad they are extinct in the modern nights but if I ever play another dark ages game, they are pretty high up on the list right behind the Lamia, especially if I can get a friend to play a Cappadocian haha
Pisha was Best Girl in VTMB. As someone more familiar with just the video game what is the point of most vampire lives? Is it just to survive, or is it to try and thrive by gathering power? If power is key then what is at the heart of power. Is it just control over others? Cause it seems like some vampires are kinda screwed. If we are talking about a pure survival thing I think Gangrel could do pretty well and could have interesting stories. What is Brujah for? If you were to pick just a main theme for Vampire though what is it?
I would say all of these make up the core themes if the Jyhad, the ongoing conflict amongst vampires of all ages. But if I personally were to pick a theme that would sum up the VtM experience, is the fight against ones degrading Humanity, both as a physical entity and the memory of it, for vampires are no longer human.
@@LoreByNightVtM Interesting. Do they ever really go into how much Vampires remember of human lives? Think about your own life and how little you remember the further you go back. At a certain point you start to only remember highlights and low lights. Can the Kindred actually remember much of who they were after 50 or a 100 years? Think about how often we have trouble recalling things, we can even convince ourselves that things happened differently. Then our minds eye can actually make those fabrications a visual memory.
Just because this seems like a good place, I'd say my top three would be Kiasyd> Gargoyles> Blood brothers. Kiasyd are first mainly because I am a CtD fanboy and I think there's such a wealth of horror and pc's you can make from them, as well as how versatile they are as npcs in a pinch. But of course, I also like elves and they hit that mark for me. Gargoyles are also fun because I love a trauma story where pc's can help each other heal, and they're also just a bunch of fun since they can fit basically anywhere in the Kindred AND Cainite societies. And Blood brothers... Well they're just cute, if you ignore the horrific origin story, and as someone who ran a one-shot where the party was a circle of them they can get quote interesting as facets of a big psyche

I do love my babies but yeah can't disagree with the Blood brother placement, I mean I'm told that even the writers have killed them off in the sabbat book (not that anything stays died). little sad you pass over the Telyavelic Tremere tho, not that they got skipped, just that i couldn't hear you say "they were House Carna before it was cool, which is quite the feat considering Carna was never cool" #IpsissimusForUnlife

What Baali RP did you find the most engaging? I really like them, but it's hard to find any info about them online - I think there's only one RP, but it's about the entire Balli coterie, which loses some 'charm'.
4:00 I would want to play one and every thinks their crazy (because how they speak at times), and no one notices brothers cycles with the coterie (or pack). Also give them JoJo bodies.
They're also extremely difficult to roleplay well. As well as just have fun with. The more I look at them the less I think I am able to develop a working AND enjoyable concept for them. I don't care about OP powers, I care about them essentially being emotional husks. OP powers are fun when they have an actual personality. The True Brujah sadly don't have much of a personality based on my reading.
