Yeah. That innings pretty much screamed "alright, do I have your attention now?" because of how T20 at first was perceived as some glorified gully/backyard cricket and nothing else and that innings definitely made people think differently.
I don't see IPL, any other T20 league or 20 overs games in general ever being this successful had he not played that 158.
