    Man i just noticed that your channel exists and im very excited about it. You are a chill guy, i can understand all your talking (im spanish) because you pronounce so well and the most important thing is that you actually are not cocky but full of knowledge. Ill start eating all your videos because there is gold. Huge thank you because lot of people learn and improve because of you. Also i would like to suggest a video where you explain what are the most important pulley accesories and how to build it without money (i mean cheap DIY) for the beginners.
    Love and keep going i hope one day we will meet and arm wrestle 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

    Very helpful, and thanks for taking your time to do this and to share it with the world, free of charge. I have to say, I love the fact that the first topic you guys covered is about safe arm wrestling. One of my oldest and best friends wanted to begin training for arm wrestling about 3-4 years ago (it was during lockdowns when he began taking an interest to if). He broke his arm within the first 2 months. He said he was having a “friendly match” with a guy at his gym, and out of nowhere during the first pull… “POP!!”
    He claims it was just a freak thing… but I had seen him pull a few times and I don’t think he had any idea how to be safe as a new puller. He has since healed and has become much more conscious of his technique, but he has to learn the hard way, I suppose.
    Stay strong, and love arm wrestling!

    Whats the pain between your inner elbow and bottom of your bicep? Right where the vein goes from bicep to forearm. For a while it felt like sharp pains and it almost had me in tears and i have a fairly high tolerance for pain. Right where you elbow bends but on the inside above inner forearm but below bicep right in between the two where it bends.

      @voiceofarmwrestling  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree. Just unlucky moment.

    • @LYFJV
      @LYFJV 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Many reasons. Most likely, you are young with little history of strength training or physical training, your bones have not developed very much. Your workout from your channel indicate you trained for AW but have little else for stress for bone to adapt. Prolonged and constant stress for strength training or physical labor is necessary.
      Also, your nutrition matters. I do not know your nutrition but some diets add to bone strength and some food actually take away. You are young so a long term bone healthy diet from you is unlikely. You do not appear "well feed". The body will not be solid without adequate food or proper nutrition supplementing. I would bet you have had neither for an extended period. Being well feed and being fat are not the same. Quality nutrition matters at any weight.
      Also, "position" is important yes, but stress can be applied to bone in rotational force even when body position looks OK. People are more likely injured when arm is low because of increased torque, you position during injury was shoulder away from arm.
      I would guess your injury is a result of all these factors. Your enthusiasm is great but you outpaced your body.
      Dave Chaffee broke arm at his second tournament but is now one of the best in the world. Injuries happen all sports, many worse than broken arms. Create a 5 year plan, have patience, grow into a man, and try again if you still have heart.
      "How much can you take, and keep moving forward?"
      Good luck

  • @rogerweldington6

    I am a beginner and I have had the misfortune of an arm break. Like in the beginning of your video I got outside of my shoulder and suffered a spiral fracture. I was fortunate enough to not need surgery and after 3 months I am able to use my arm enough to go back to work but it is still sore and hurts with certain movements. I understand that I have to give it more time before I can return to training and practice and a long time still before any competition. If you have any tips on what to do to get my arm back in shape and to strengthen my arm and/ or what to practice on the table to make sure I don't have any other injuries. Most of the guys I know are top rollers and it doesn't feel natural for me and I can't seem to get the pronation for top rolling. I would like to try the hook or inside offense and defense in the future so any tips and exercises and beginner advice would be greatly appreciated. You guys have great videos and I have learned a lot from you guys that I can't wait to use in work outs and practice. Thank You guys for all the information you have shared! 👍👍👊👊💪💪

    Good content! The rising popularity of arm wrestling should force IOC to include this sport in the Olympics.
