Hikoki 36V rotary hammer performance test & review (DH36DPE)

  • Here we take a not-so-quick deep dive into Hikoki/Metabo HPT's new generation of 36V rotary hammers. I've only got the DH36DPE on hand but since it's got the same specs as the Hikoki DH3628DA & Metabo HPT DH3628DD I figure this is a good indication of how all three will perform. Somehow this quick vid ended up being ten minutes long but hey there's a lot to cover with this sweet hammer.

    I love D handle Rotary hammers, Makita have 1 1/8 D handle Rotary hammer on there 40v platform (GRH07) it looks very similar to the Hikoki one, Bosch also have there now 1 1/8 in D handle GBH18V-28D it look just like upgraded version of there GBH18V-26D.

    How does it rate in chisel mode ?

      Very good, as good as in hammer drilling
