    This is my testimony ✋🏾😩🤚🏾. I’ve been so afraid to tell it all. I feel compelled to finally let it out. So many feel the same. I have NEVER felt that this was who I was. It’s going on 8 months since I’ve finally said YES to God and trusted in Him whole heartedly. He’s been keeping and sustaining me. I never thought it was possible. That homosexual spirit is real and strong. We definitely can’t do it our self. It takes God and God alone. But you MUST go to Him and be open to hearing and obeying His word. This video is so powerful 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

      This might be true of victims but what does this have to do with homosexuality? The vast majority of predators are heterosexual. To subject a minority class of predator to be wholly classed as predators is ridiculous. To ignore the reality of whom the majority of predators are is cognitive dissonance.

    • @yearofthevoice484
      @yearofthevoice484 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @gaylefranklin Thank you for asking, even if this was a general question. I do not believe that the speaker meant predator in the very specific way of one who commits sexual assault or anything like that. I think he meant predator in a very general sense of someone who just pursues. Like how the speaker said how he was pursued ("victim" used loosely) but then began initiating sexual contact ("predator" used loosely). I do hope this helps. Though I could have heard and received him wrong. I will gladly concede to any clarity and corrections. Peace.

Plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, body and soul (perhaps taking Holy Communion very often) and declare God's scriptures over you. I found His Word has great power to sanctify us daily and deliver us from all darkness.
      Colossians 2:13-15
      [13]And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
      [14]Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    Reggie, Reggie, Reggie.....I thank God for you! To be honest, I've been thanking God for you for a very long time. As one of your youth leaders in the past, I've been so proud of you and the man of God you have become. I've been following you and your journey with Christ and ministry since being reconnected back with you on social media. This podcast was/is so necessary!!! An actual answer to my prayers! I have a daughter who is dealing with same sex attraction, which has been very difficult for me to deal with and understand as a Christian parent. I'm in the process of reading Jackie Perry's book for an understanding, but this 1 hour podcast coming from someone I personally know has helped me more, thus far! Thank you so much for your transparency! Thank you, Ezekiel, for asking the perfect questions for a clearer understanding. Our church is doing a Bible study now called, "Experiencing God". In that study, one of the main points is that God is always working. This podcast being exposed to the world is a perfect example of God at work because this can free so many people. The enemy is trying to have my child, but I'm rebuking that demon in the name of Jesus. This spirit has already affected the progress of her young adulthood, and I refuse to allow Satan will win this battle. I am a mother who will not back down to this experience of sin. I heard the voice of God say, "Let her go, and I'll do the rest. " This happened just a week ago and I've been attacked personally twice since then. But I am still trusting God and holding on to my faith in God. I'm going to share this podcast with her in hopes that it may be received as a word not only from God, but also from someone that can relate. Thank you, thank you, thank you for not only your transparency, but also your boldness in the faith and your obedience to God. This could have not been anything but God in such a time as this to allow this podcast to be created. Especially, as you stated in the conversation, that when it's addressed in the church no one really knows how to help!!! So much profound truth was in this conversation and I'm so grateful for you! May God continue to use you to change the world through HIS Word!! This has blessed me today and I know it will bless many others!! Always much love for you! 😘

Why use the anecdotes of individuals to claim that gay can be prayed away? Jackie Hill Perry already testified to the fact that all the praying & even marriage to a man hasn't taken away her affections for women.
      There are many, in fact the vast majority of people who are not heteronoromative or heterosexual who are completely fine with who they are and how they show up in the world.

      My dear sister…. You must free yourself and, in turn, free your husband. The only choice in this equation has nothing to do with sexuality (because that is not a choice)… it’s yours to remain chained to a fantasy that one day, you will be the one that makes him straight. It will not happen. He is outletting his true self in ways you likely are unaware because he is gay and a human being. At some point, when he runs out out mechanisms to tamp down his gayness, he will turn to you as the cause of his pain. I beg you to head off that inevitability and set the both of you free. Love is not judgement and judgement is so deeply rooted in why gay ppl remain closeted. Let go of that judgement and give love a chance for you both.

    I hear everyone saying this was never who they were yet I am different! I got saved at 5 and filled with the Spirit, yet I still knew I was different. That has not changed.. if it has with others , praise God for them but everyone’s testimony is not the same. The CHURCH was the one who let me know what they assumed I was with name calling and dreadful sermons that used scriptures by twisting the interpretations and stories in the Bible to label them as God’s wrath against homosexuals. Romans and Genesis that needed to be researched before yelling out sermons which are both used by believers and unbelievers to this day. You can lie, steal, even commit adultery but be gay and it’s a major sin!! I was gay when I was born period.. and my feelings have not changed but my body has been brought under subjection!! My flesh has had to die but my attractions are still the same !! SO WHEN people say I was brought out.. what do you mean? Now you love women? Now you can get married and have a family, because most Christian’s believe that denotes deliverance…. ? IT MEANS NOTHING, however if that’s what you can do I praise God for you, but everyone is not the same. Also to be homosexual does not always equal having sex! Most equate the two. There are many who are able to be honest about their struggle but remain celibate!! LET’S GET REAL HERE! Just because you follow Jesus does not always turn you straight!! Paul said “ I HAVE A THORN IN MY FLESH! I SOUGHT THE LORD THRICE BUT HE DID NOT TAKE IT AWAY BUT SAID MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!! .. Although I hear these type of post a lot.. they do not answer for all gay people and the battle between gay and the church rages on. THE CHURCH NEEDS A LITTLE MORE GRACE…. HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT THE PROBLEM But the hate and attacks from people who say they know God. Get some people who can show you the raw truth of the matter… then I’ll rejoice more!!

This brother is so brave and we thank God for giving him this bravery to share his testimony. I hope and pray that as he continues to share his testimony and help other men who share a similar journey, that God may remove the stigma and judgment from the Christian community so other men can find support and love in their local church community. @thabangmogale5565 My brother our sexuality never changes, don't allow such stories to confuse you, there's nothing wrong with being homosexual. In some cases people were not born homosexual but abuse(usually sexual) made them that way but even in cases like that one may remain gay even after they've healed from the trauma because you would have evolved into being gay due to your circumstances and it's not wrong, we are not the body or our sexuality, we are consciousness. Addiction of any sort is a problem including pornography but it's not homosexuality that's making you to be addicted to porn, anyone can be a porn addict and there's usually deeper emotional reasons for that ie unaddressed trauma or repressed feelings etc

I have a lot of brothers who I feel need to hear this so they don’t feel like they have to hide. Anyone who is a true discipler of God’s people regardless of their struggle should use this as a tool because walking with people through their journey is humbling and reveals alot about ya (from the person discipling). You can’t make people feel like they are less than human because of their sin choice or iniquity in their bloodline.

    God is faithful and I am starting to truly see the importance of "holding on","fighting the good fight of faith", and praying. My story is similar to Reggies and I appreciate you for the transparency. I couldn't articulate then what happening in my life at a young age. I never wanted to be apart of the "community' but I couldn't understand the desires no had a safe space in church to explain them but watching this I see that I wasn't alone and that the enemy obliviously wanted me to feel that way. Isolation is so dangerous in so many ways because when it's happening in pain you feel as if no one cares, no one around you is listening and that you don't have any hope. I begged God for years for someone to relate to me and disciple me so I could get just a glimpse of freedom. But He didn't allow it and I do believe now I would've idolized that relationship which would've ultimately caused me to stumble in more areas. I grateful for this episode, my prayer now is that more of us who are fighting in faith to stay out of our previous lifestyles will band together and minister in sincerity to those who are still in. God bless once again.

I fully believe that God truly does not make mistakes. We are who we are the same gender loving people because that is how we were created. I certainly can appreciate the anguish centered around trying to live a life that is pleasing to not only God I loved ones and more importantly ourselves. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to come to the conclusion that you will live your life based on how you feel God has created you. This certainly will not sit well with black church culture and even in some instances are culture period. I applaud your courageousness and I pray that God would grant you favor in every area of your life and more importantly that your life be fulfilled Based on God's purpose for it.

    I love seeing the young adults come to Christ! I love how the gospel gets to the heart of human, how it beautifully dissects us and puts us back together; essentially, it’s the gospel and the science of humanity. ❤

    This helped me so much. Such a powerful and brave man of God. I asked God while watching to help me take from this video what I can use to better disciple and have empathy and patience for others. This is sooo many men's reality even when it comes to sexual abuse from women and it being disregarded. My prayer is more men are set free to come forward and as the church we grow and mature to allow their voices to be heard and anyone who doesnt have common testimonies to feel safe

    Thank You for Breaking the Glass Ceiling. Our church's ⛪️ especially the African American church's, needs this teaching . Dont ask, don't tell, and no one is being delivered

    I loved it! I wanted to hear more about his knowledge of generational patterns/curses and more details of what is faith journey was like when he knew he had been delivered and how he started dating women later and met his wife.

    I thank God for these brothers bold enough to have such a conversation. This is the problem in most churches. We don’t have the conversation. We need each other. I have somewhat of a different take on the subject but if these brothers have found peace, I say hats off. God bless

    All I can say is Thankyou God knows what we need and when we need it. I really can relate with just about everything Bro Reggie said. When he talked about the hope beyond the proclivity that just blew my mind because I have become so focused on the deliverance from the homosexuality without the actual hope of anything else. This was God sent and God ordained

    I identify with so much of his testimony. From struggling to find a mentor, to the immense shame in the thought of sharing my testimony. In fact, the Holy Spirit told me that I will be sharing my testimony and I said NO, lol. I fear rejection because of the stigma, so the thought of sharing that part of my story seemed impossible. However, like Pastor Robinson noted, our voices are needed to help others.
