marvin, a very important advice, magdala ka ng extrang fone at have a colored printed copy of your passport and yung schengen visa mo, iwan mo sya lagi sa hotel. madaming pickpockets sa europe lalo na sa southern and central europe. magtabi ka din ng isang debit card lagi sa hotel para if ever that happens, you have funds if manakawan ka. put your passport in the most secured place ng bag mo. take also a photo of it sa phone mo ung visa nad passport and send it to your email.
This! I have a friend na nanakawan recently. Whenever I’m in Europe I use my anti theft backpack kasi laging meron talagang nagaattempt mag pick pocket sa akin.
Ang TANONG: Safe ba sa hostel or hotel? BTW, sa hostel sya at mukhang wala namang vault😂
@@wps3023 there are lockers naman sa bawat hostels na pwede mo lagyan ng lock, with almost a decade sa europe di pa ako nawalan ng gamit sa hostels,
@@wps3023 based from my experience, I usually stay in hostels. I feel like it’s safer. May locker and minsan may safe. Medyo mahirap nakawan kasi mataas ang human traffic. I’ve tried hostels all over the world my important stuff are always secured.

Excited for you, Marvin! Some tips fr my end - 1) Wear shoes with good grip and cushion. Ma-cobble stones and ma-marble sa EU.; 2) Pack light kasi maraming stairs/steps, incl sa trains; 3) Early entry sa Vatican para less crowd; 4) Have a secret wallet (inside your shirt) for money, passports, credit cards, and valuables; 5) Bring light water bottle kasi potable tap water sa Europe. Mahal bottled water and drinks; 6) If on a budget, heaviest meal should be Lunch (combo meals). Dinner is more expensive; 7) Try to act like you as if live there, wag masyadong turista ang dating para di ka lapitin ng mga alam mo na hahaha! And yes, Prague is beautiful 😍
Hi, Marvin! Thank you for giving us 30 days of everyday consecutive uploads for December. This is no easy task and I super appreciate your time, effort, and commitment to put it all together!
Your EU trip is exciting! Just a few tips na alam kong nasabi mo na rin yung iba sa vlog:
- Always be aware of pickpockets. Yung kasama namin nasnatch-an agad agad sa airport pa lang sa Barcelona pagka-land. They even do this in broad daylight! May times pa na 2 or 3 silang magkakasama so someone will distract you or something. Sa Paris sa loob ng train may nag-attempt din sa isa pang kasama namin as in walang patago-tago. As in i-snatch nya sana yung bag for everyone in the train to see! Buti hindi sya naging successful. I am a bit worried because you’re super friendly. While there are genuinely friendly people in Europe just be always vigilant lang kung sakaling may mga pickpockets posturing as locals who are friendly to tourists.
- May mga train stations na magkakapareho ang pangalan especially in Germany, Switzerland. From Frankfurt, we were supposed to connect to another train in Basel SBB to Milan pero sa Basel Bad Bf kami bumaba. We ended up booking another train ride kasi we missed the train we were supposed to ride to connect to. But maybe your chances of purchasing a new ticket for missed trains will be less of a problem because of your Eurail pass. That was a good option for visiting many EU countries and feeling ko good deal din sya for you.
- Be on time (meaning much earlier than schedule) sa train stations kasi baka may need ka pa i-validate sa ticket or you need some time to look for your platform pa especially in bigger stations.
- It would be good to learn a little bit of the language. Thankfully my partner is able to converse well in Italian and madali siya to warm up to people para makapag tanong tanong kapag nawawala kami or may gusto kami malaman sa mga ganap while we were in Italy.
- Yes, better na one maleta lang and just bring a few clothes tapos mag-laundry na lang while in EU para hindi mahirap mag travel via train from one city/country to the next.
- Always have your passport accessible with you at all times, even in trains kasi may mga nagchecheck din minsan sa trains when you are crossing country borders.
- Helpful din to know what is the etiquette and how they do things in the country for grocery shopping, etc. Like segregating waste, claygo sa mga fastfood. Dapat mabilis sa supermarket. They don’t have a bagger like what we have here so mabilis kilos ng shopper sa pag bag ng grocery, bayad, buhat.
- Always stay hydrated especially if you are doing a lot of walking. Tumbler would help if you are just traveling/walking within the city.
- Don’t forget to protect your neck and hands. Scarves, gloves para iwas pangangati at pagsusugat bec of the cold.
Enjoy your Europe trip and Happy New Year!
Hi Marvin, just some thoughts I'd like to share with you having travelled to most of your destination. I am all for trying to see as much as you can para sulit sabi mo nga but as a traveller factor in the following: Jet Lag--!the struggle will be real, Luggage, kung isang big luggage ka lang, pwede siguro, Train schedules as against check in and checkout times. I have done the 1 day overnight na sinasabi mo, medyo haggard yan tapos hahabol ka pa ng trains for your next destination. Trains can be packed, minsan no space for luggage. hindi sya masaya. very important is security. Europe is not what it was before, hindi biro ang nakawan, hablutan, budol, lalonna sa paris, italy, rome, and spain... mas safe pa sa quiapo minsan. Please make that your number 1 priority kasi scary talaga. Think of it this way, Quality over Quantity sa mga destination. Of course, it's your decision naman. Best of luck.
Very well said po! I second this ☺️
I agree. Based sa experience ko sa scandanavian trip ko before, quality over quantity,
akala nya ganun kadali lng mg travel s europe by train and bus para sa asia hehe
true!!!
Actually good na rin na shinare mo with us yung plans mo, instead of surprising us with the places. Ang daming nagbigay ng input and suggestions para maminimize ang mistakes. Ako naman tamang kinig at basa sa comsec lang. 😂 Excited for your EU trip, Marvin! Happy new year! 🎉
🫶🫶🫶
Excited for your Czech Republic trip, aabangan ka po namin sa Czech Hunter! 😉😂🤣
Try getting work sa Spain that will allow you to stay for 2 years. After 2 years citizen ka na with a Spanish passport. It will open more travel opportunities for you. Filipinos are entitled to a fast citizenship process because we were a Spanish colony.
Hope enjoy ka sa trip mo ❤
interesting!
Di naman kumpleto ung info mo. Hindi po basta 2 years lang ung kailangan magstay sa Spain. Dapat 2 years legal of stay at nagbabayad Ng tax. kc ung iba illegal na nasa Spain at walang papel so di yun counted. At kailangan maipasa ung Spanish language exam bago ka makapagapply Ng Spanish citizenship. So good luck!
Mababa sahod sa Spain, try Ireland, citizenship in 5 years, okay din pasahod, mkakaipon ka. Radiographers, nurses, accountants mostly in demand,
@@PinayVocals di naman ako immigration agency. Higit sa lahat matalino si Marvin nagets nya yun at alam nya gumanit ng Google at magresearch.
@@thebackpackerph ah the Digital Nomad Visa. Kaso mataas and madami tlga requirements.
HOY AKALA KO EXPERT PLANNER NAKO.... IBANG LEVEL KA IDOL. I LEARNED A LOT! I'LL BE WATCHING THE VLOGS!! KEEP SAFE AND ENJOY!
Enjoy Italy!!! If youre going to Vatican City, make sure to get up early (around 0630am) line up na for St. Peter’s Basilica kasi lines get very very long!!! As in mauubos yung araw mo and sobrang crowded even nga 9am na.. And if you’re planning to go to museums, like the Vatican museum, make sure to reserve a ticket online!
Maraming pickpockets everywhere especially sa trains! And take note, naka-ayos sila like you wouldn’t expect theyre pickpockets! So be careful of your belongings.
Ingat lagi, can’t wait to watch your vlogs!!! 😌
There are tickets on klook for early entry 👍🏼
Marvs, I read somewhere that most of the Europe trains tickets will need validation ng tickets before ka sumakay. Make sure to check with each train station para di ka mapenalize - Fines can range from €10 to €100 or more, depending on the railway’s policies and you'll have to purchase a new ticket on the spot, often at a higher price.
Tips to Avoid Issues:
Always check for validation machines near station entrances or platforms.
If you forget and board the train, find the conductor immediately to explain and validate your ticket before inspections begin.
Use digital or app-based tickets when possible, as they often don’t require validation.
Yes, kahit na nakabili po kayo ng ticket sa machine, kailangan pong ivalidate na parang binubutas katulad sa Roma Termini, ipapasok po ninyo ying ticket at bubutasan.
Yes, na fine ako dahil hindi ko navalidate took the train in Italy from Pisa to Florence to Rome, €50 rin yunng fine sayang!!! Pero in switzerland wala naman ako naexperience na need ivalidate at wala masyado nagchecheck ng ticket unlike Italy… and trains in europe are on time maiwan ka tlaga if babagal bagal hehe
I support this itinerary Marvin! Do more of these! Kagaya mo din ako na syempre susulitin ang oras at budget to see as many countries as you can. Go cater for the market that you, yourself are! You served as a guide to many of my travels :)
Good itinerary. I also stayed in Europe for 5 weeks straight and had similar itinerary as yours (except Slovenia and Croatia). My best cities are Prague, Paris, Basel, and Florence using 2 criteria: density of tourist spots per sqkm and value for money. Prague is the 1st in the world to be declared a UNESCO heritage city, so be amazed by its architecture and landscape .You can live in a palace converted into a hotel for the price of a Manila motel room.
Paris is not expensive if you will search well for places to stay (Aparthotel Adagio for example) or eat (Muslim cafeterias were chicken dishes are tasty and cheap). Basel is a city located in 3 countries, so expect the merger of 3 cultures and architectures. Surprisingly, the hotel along the Rhine are inexpensive.
Agree I've been to Prague last March 2020 before lockdown started and yes it's so beautiful.
Rome is timeless and its renaissance art take your breath away.
Hehe aparthotel adagio is the best, paris and florence are my faves because they are excellent in 4 areas: food, architecture, history, shopping (luxury, grocery, souvenirs). Plus they are cheap.
Kitang kita ang excitement mo. Excited much din talaga para sayo. Pray natin na maging maayos ang lahat ng byahe mo. 🙏
I'll make sure na mag take note dyan sa part na yan at puntahan ko din yan in the future.
See ya in your IG stories.
I like this kind of vlog---showing the planning stages! Hopefully more of this in the future!
Hello Marvin, silent viewer here! Excited for you on this Trip, we went for 45days in Europe. Our budget was only €20-50 per day. Breakfast was from Aldi & Lidl Supermarket (bread & coffee), Lunch & Dinner (splurge).
I'm soooo happy for you Marvin!❤🎉
Ingat and enjoy Marvin! Excited for your Europe trip. ❤
First time ko mapanood ang vlog na to, ito cguro ang marvin na nabanggit ng isang commenter ng mapanood ko sa vlog ni JM Banquicio. Ang Taray nsa list ang Netherlands.😮 enjoy
Yehey, this is the vlog that I’ve been waiting for! God bless sa travels mo sa Eu, Marvin!
Doble ingat ka lalo na sa Paris/Barcelona/Rome. Maraming mandurukot. ‘Wag ka din papascam sa mga tao doon. Especially sa mga touristy spots. Keep your belongings near your body 😂 enjoy and just heighten your senses pag napapansin mo na dumarami na yung tao sa paligid mo.
Safe travels again!
Congrats, Marvin! Enjoy your trip! Do mind tho that since plan mong mag train, hindi lahat ng train stations (including the platforms) are friendly if madaming kang luggage kasi sometimes the stairs are too long and not every train has spaces for big luggages, altho if sa capital ka din naman na train stations may mga elevators naman sila. Do also try to see of flixbus or cheap airlines like Ryan Air just in case. From time to time meron naman silang sales. Do take care of your belongings while in the train. Maganda din if you'd like to limit the countries eventually, pwede namang countries between eastern and western europe lang (like 2 or 3 each) so you can also see the difference in the architecture and environment. Pansin ko lang din, parang wala kang northern europe sa list mo? The scandinavia is also a good place to explore. Enjoyyyyy! Excited to see the vlogs! ✨
Just trust your instincts. And pursue what makes you happy.
Just a friendly unsolicited advice po: Be careful of your belongings around Barcelona and Paris especially at touristy spots. Pickpockets are notorious, so keep your valuables safe. Also, if you can work around your schedule in Italy please do not miss to visit Florence if you can. You MUST visit and you’ll never regret it. Much better than Milan or Venice, I must say. Enjoy authentic Italian food, too. Do not scrimp on food while in Italy! Enjoy your Eurotrip!
Agree, lalo na sa italy daming mandurukot
Truee. Attenzione pickpocket!😝
Florence is the real gem in italy, even better than rome in my opinion, especially the food.
Waaaa! I’m so SO happy for you kuya Marvin! I appreciate your transparency sa planning and everything sa tour mo na ‘to! Wow! Will anticipate your Europe vlogs! Take care and have fun!
I travel to Europe every year for more than ten years now and we have the similar travel worksheet which includes a lot of budget details- a mark of an accountant. Traveling to Europe for 35 days is an exciting adventure! My advice based on my experience: opt for a carry-on size suitcase to travel light, plan for self-service laundry along the way and be mindful of pickpockets (and thieves even in hotels). Enjoy your 35-day European adventure! It’s the perfect opportunity to explore, learn, and create unforgettable memories. 🌍
Excited!! Thanks for sharing!! Can’t wait to do this 2025!!! 🥺
Excited for you! Happy New Year! ❤️🙏🎉🎉🎉
Happy New Year, Marvin! 🎉🎆🎊🎇Enjoy your European trip and stay safe. Wishing you more travels specially to new places, 100k and up subscribers, meet and greet(s) - at least 2 🤞🏼, more brand partnerships, more learnings and good health. And lovelife in the right time. ❤❤

Thanks for sharing your plans. We are excited for your Europe Trip. Enjoy but also be street smart if madami pala nag pickpocket. Excited for your new adventures! Happy Holidays! ❤️❤️❤️
Enjoy and be safe.
Since based sa map mo madadaanan mo naman by train, I suggest magstop ka na rin sa Florence/Pisa. Nakita ko kasi yan na inexplore ng Seventeen members sa travel show nila na Nana Tour and ang ganda! Baka magustuhan mo rin lalo na yung Santa Maria del Fiore ng Florence or Tower of Pisa.
love the detailed planning ☺ enjoy and god bless po❤
I will follow your Europe tour! I’m interested to visit Spain and France 😊
sobrang detailed, love it ❤
I had my Schengen trip this year but only in 4 countries for 21 days. But I did the opposite of yours. My point of entry was in Berlin and went to Amsterdam-Berlin again-Prague-Vienna. Prague is the best of all the places I visited followed by a city in Germany which is Dresden. I highly suggest you include Dresden in your trip because it’s just between Prague and Berlin. Promise it’s one of the beautiful cities in Germany if not the whole Europe. Enjoy!
I just had the time to watch this now. Grabe super organized and nag research ka talaga for the Europe trip hehe. Thanks for sharing this Marvs. I'll add this to my favorites vlog. Manifesting na makapag Europe thin ako soon, and I will definitely rewatch this planning video. Idol talaga kita sa travel vlogs. Inspiration na din.
