- So Filthy, this should be posted to an Adults Only Site! As my quarantine continues into day 23 - due to the health crisis of 2020 - I continue my quest to get my monster trucks muddier than I have ever seen them before !! There is plenty of opportunity to show how I ready, use, and clean up my trucks - so make sure to stay tuned the entire video for helpful tips and tricks. Today I am using one of my all-time favourite trucks - the Traxxas TRX4 1979 Bronco! This 1/10th scale truck is mostly bone stock accept for the oversized tires and the Sense Innovations "ess-dual" sound kit. I am using a 3s Lipo battery (12v), and have already pre-lubricated and readied this truck for mud. Cleaning the truck is made much easier by doing just a few things to ensure that you are ready to go! (One tip I do not include in the video - is to ensure that your WHEELS are sealed. Most stock tires have 2 "breather" holes for the tires. You can easily cover them with some "gorilla tape".. duct tape.. or another adhesive.) My tires are Bead Lock rims and are sealed entirely.

A awesome rig for sure. I put my 85 full size Eddie Bower Bronco through everything. Knowing the terrain, fast and furious, mountain trails, rock walking speed. Always ready to employ the winch. Good times OFFROAD
I love mud bogging it is so much fun and relaxing until you break something in the end it’s a fun.

The TRX4 Bronco is one of those rig on my one day when I have money list. I just have to have one, I would like to get a clear body so I could paint it my way. I just love pipe dreams, by the time I can afford one of these they will be obsolete.
I love watching these old square trucks especially if its a ford. They look tough even just sitting still. Another awesome video MEDiC. I play it both ways slow and steady at first and once I know what its like then I'll go back and rip through a few times to see the mud or water fly.

Really good muddy video lol. Have you ever thought about doing a scrap RC. Make one from all scrap parts . Make a chassis frame from a bit of metal. Then see if you can do a crawling video?

Man, your passion and enthusiasm for the hobby is down right infectious... in the best possible way! It’s definitely been a decade or two since I owned anything RC to be honest. I’ve been watching your wonderful videos for a while now and the more I see the fantastic work you put in, and the more I see you enjoying this unique experience- and sharing with so many great people the world over! ...I am definitely starting to ponder the possibilities of entering the world of this fun-tech-tastic hobby! My budget would not be huge at this stage but if you had any plans to perhaps make an ‘Introduction to RC; a guide for n00bz & Dumb-Dumbs’ something like that to kinda cover the options and different price points.. pitfalls to maybe avoid and maybe like ‘top 10 things you should know about the hobby’ or before you embark on the journey type thing. I do realize that what I have gained from you so far is that it doesn’t matter at the end of the day what build you have or how you want to operate and enjoy it but I would love to get some of your expert insight into this exciting world! I get the feeling that there are maybe lots of people in my same situation perhaps at the same kind of stage in life (early 30’s ha!) ...looking to have a darn good time with the magical world of imagination and creativity that you inspire us to explore. Regardless- keep up the wonderful passion and the incredible entertainment and enthusiasm, I dig it man! Keep on Rollin’ and a big thanks from us all here in TH-cam land! I generally drive very scaleish however you flying into those mud puddles makes me want to build a mud truck oh wait I am building one!
wow cant believe ive been watching your videos for 10 years! and I still haven't managed to buy an rc kit haha, I'm here in the UK, I live fulltime #vanlife and I really need to get into this.. ive had enough time haha hopefully lockdown wont be for to much longer. then i really must join the rc crew, it's been so long i dont even know what i would go for now? definitely a rock crawler of some sort, I'm a Toyota hilux fan.. any advice would be very much appreciated dude 😎🤘

Do u have a rc truck that has a selectable 2x4 to 4x4? If so do u ever drive it in 2wheel drive until it is stuck and then switch it to 4x4 to try and get urself out before going to a winch?

Medic I was watching some old unboxing vids that I havent watch for a long time and man I would love a giveaway beacuse I only have 2 hobby grade RC, 1 is a race car and the outher one is a jeep the MN99s and I love the MN but it has a broken axle and now i just have 2 front weel drive.
And btw I love the vids you make them very realistic.

I had a 78 bronco on 33's back in the day. when I started watching yer channel in 2012 I had an 81 k10 swb on 35's and I wanted to build my truck with an scx10 so bad. I still gotta do that but ima use an scx10 iii instead. keep up the good work y'all have a badass day 🤘🏻
Another chemical you can try is made by LPS and is a food grade silicon lubricant. It is used on any machines that make ground meat products. I love it because it is non-toxic and it brings the luster back to RC plastics. It is also a rust preventative. I get it at Zoro.com.
I love just crawling but some good ripping is always fun buying my trx4 sport hoping this month this stupid virus makes it hard to get to the hobby shoppe

2:00 Indeed my father bought a 78 Bronco new in 78. It had every single option available at that time. It had a cb,fuzz buster,mini b/w tv. I'll have to double check i believe it had a phone as well. Thanks for sharing love the bronco.

My TRX-4 Bronco goes scale, but the Arrma Kraton is bashed hard. I also drive 1:10 Off-road buggies with focus on raceline.

Thanks for an awesome mud run, now I'm bored again, oh, I know what to do. I'll mention our mud pit here in SoCal which is above a dam in Angeles National Forest in Azusa Canyon just Downstream from Mount Baldy which is 11,040 ft High. What? you didn't know SoCal had a mountain 11thousand and 40 feet high, when I want to see snow I have to drive 45 minutes. Number 3 lift, Thunder Run has the steepest grade in the country. Then if I want to surf before noon I have to Boogie to the beach. Then if I want a sunburn Before Sunset I scurry out to Palm Springs AY,
I'm just starting in RCs with a TRX-4 kit & Defender body. As to sound kits - I love the idea. Please use your platform to let those of us who don't have the knowledge of the options out ther or where to find them!!!
Some in my local hobby store had said they didn't think this vehicle wouldn't accept a sound kit. Ha! I got the same kit you put on your Bronco ESS - DUAL. It was a piece of cake to install.

Great truck! My son and me were out today running RC in the back yard! He ran my TRX Blazer red/black and he couldn't keep in low gear at all classic and I was running 4x2 Slash and just bashing and alittle natural off-road obstacles he attempted awesome day! No mud!☹️

So, Regarding the holes, would gorilla superglue be appropriate? i just got new tires all around and want to completely seal them from water. Thanks a bunch if you happen to see this.

Love that Bronco! Very realistic! Bought a 90 Doge Ramcharger all original, installed a lift kit 37in swampers , like new condition, very rare. To nice to go mudding, just for show! they should start making these again!

I am currently homeless, but making good money, so far. As a semi truck driver it will be a while (I hope) before the Virus threatens my livelihood. I am trying to find a living space, so that I can get into RC'ing and applying the the things that I have learned from you. You are an inspiration to me and I can't wait to get into this hobby. I am going to concentrate on trailing and heavy equipment, as I feel that I will have the greatest enjoyment out of them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in all things RC! I am a subscriber for as long as you will provide such great information and experience, as well as entertainment.!!!
Throttle control for me depends on situation and conditions, but prefer to go on the slower side for the most part. One of these years I may get me a trx4....have to wait and see

I like the slow, realistic approach to RC offroad. I love to watch the tires work, for instance the tires in the video do an excellent job of cleaning out even with no real wheel speed. I'm the same way with crawling, momentum where appropriate. It can be a lot of fun to bash but when I'm trying to really crawl something I basically dismiss any maneuver that might injure the driver/occupants.

I just kinda recently Sold 2 different 79 model Broncos (Actual Vehicles) back in the winter and late last summer and now going with all International Scout II Terra Trucks to Restore and ride and the 4x4 is like a tank in them

I miss my bronco. I bought it when I was sixteen fixed it up and drove it for ten years. sold it to A sixteen year old so the cycle could start over. One day I'll have another one. I should get the TRX4 in the meantime.
Be careful with the air hose, it could push dirt and water into bearings and seals
