They don't wanna pay us at all from the actual company. Not even a penny. With a base pay that low, the customers delivery fee pretty much covers it. So really Instacart ain't paying us nothing.
Instacart won’t last long if they don’t boost that base pay up.. I’ve been talking to a lot of drivers in the Houston area and they’re all thinking about finding another source of income. Whoever is responsible for that pay cut is a money hungry piece of 💩
@@jo_ezzy the money is there; I’m a diamond cart shopper ad well. I make a 125 without even trying. You have to start early 7am at sprouts or Publix. Get the Costco drop at 10am . I do university by 595 Costco

Last Saturday I did a few orders that was $6 for 2 items. I like those orders. Less than 2 miles. The amount added up quickly until I was able to see a good order. Try not to limit yourself on the amount you take. Remember, unlike most of us, you have an electric car. Find a publix with a charging station. Charge the car while you are shopping or while you are editing your videos. This is the situation for now. Nothing you can do about it. But if you are trying to make a goal take what is good for you and stop wasting time. It all adds up. You are wasting time sittihg there when you could have made $6.68 towards the goal. Never take the shop only orders. I will do the 5 items or less for $5 as I usually need to use the rest room and grab a water. But Shop onlys are for the newbies or the desperate.
Couldn't disagree more, in my area the shop only orders really help to fill in the monotony in between delivery orders. Can knock them out extremely quick as long you know your store's layout and the order item count isn't ridiculously high (20 being my usual limit). Still counts towards your overall order count for the quarter, so its an easy way to maintain your diamond status if you care about that. 🤷♂
I remember when shop only’s paid $7 minimum. I used to be picking up a food delivery and if it wasn’t ready, I’d run into the Publix at the end of the parking lot and do a shop only during the food delivery wait. Make $7 quick, it was beautiful

I enjoy the smaller orders if the drive to deliver is short. I can stay near my favorite areas and do a lot of orders until a good order pops up.
