I own a bar across the street from this hotel. The owner was looking for a buyer, I am glad he finally got one. The building right in front is on sale too. The building across the street is on sale too. And, yes, I am a nomad too.
@@beak1784 he's telling you you'll make 20% profit on your 50k investment. With a return like that why would he need or even want investors. 20% my balls 😂😂😂
Really impressed with Nemo's business knowledge and overall mature perspective on Medellín and Colombia. The business stuff being way over my head, I'm thanking my lucky stars I can coast along here on my pension and retirement visa...lol
It looks like the hotel they're walking into is the Ayenda 1228 Balcones, not the Balcones del Estadio. I live 10 minutes away. I'm going for a walkthrough 😊
Love your videos and a subscriber, but I gotta say it, as it is killing me. Your shirt. It looks like the shape of something on the front, and it keeps making me look at it, lol. Am I the only one who sees it?
Love Andrew and great video…always good content, but YES! That looks like a big Schlong on the front of his shirt! But hey, different strokes for different folks! See what I did there? 🤓
His optimism seems ill placed, what he's saying is against the trend. Everyone is complaining in Laureles that occupation rates at hotels and Airbnb's are down sharply, international tourism has dropped vs the previous years and at the same time supply of apartments on Airbnb is going through the roof, and this is competition to hotels. Everyone who rents out acommodations in Laureles would tell you this.
@@MedellinBuzz you are right, he did mention that, thanks for reminding us. I don't know anything about the domestic tourism, but it is a tricky situation,, the other Airbnb and hotels in Laureles could start catering to colombians too if need be, all they have to do is to lower their prices a bit. In any case, I am sure your guest has a long term view and this softness might well be a temporary phenomenon. In any case, thanks for posting the video, it is very interesting content.

That deal sounds too good to be true. I love your channel 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Only 5 shares left...it's one of those deals that don't come around too often that's for sure.
When it’s too good to be true it usually is.

Great spotlight video Andrew. I’d very much appreciate an intro to Nemo once I return. 🙏

That sounds a little too optimistic of a return. Hard to believe.
Good luck! 🍀
Thanks!
What do call centers do in Colombia? It seems like there are so many call centers here
For 1 million bucks it better bring $200k after expenses per year
Why did he got it for 800k while it was valued at 1.3M ??
if only i would have 1 milion to buy a hotel
Cool
Great info, keep these type of videos coming!!
Frel free to reach out. Expat living in Medellín

He said they cater to Colombians, so those trends don’t apply. You’d have to study the trends of Colombians traveling to Medellin.

Domestic tourism is down across the board since the low cost airlines went out of business.
Great info provided by the investor. 💪
I'm coming by to take a look at it. Looks nice. Super nice area as well. VERY walkable.
Come on down and let me know what you think!
They gonna let you fix it up then take it from you by force.
Tell me you know nothing about business in Colombia without telling me you don't know.
he is very naïve talking about his investment publicly.
Why is that?
I love that he’s not afraid to talk about it.. it’s not easy openly talk especially in front of cameras
