Fantastic video!!! Here in Bahamas we are not allowed to leave the boat, even to a deserted beach. But we are anchored in a nice place! I hope we can get together sometime in the future.
Music playlist is always at the top! Have a nice lockdown in those beautiful turquoise blue waters... We don't see the time to reach our boat in Greece.
It’s a wonderful environment to be in. I would almost state, especially now it’s less crowded. A pity we’re not allowed to sail around anymore. As there are no new cases reported it seems you’re country is going to do fine, and is able to make additional preparations before it opens the borders again.
@@CatGreatcircle I agree. Our government has done an amazing job managing the corona virus situation. It won't be long before we're back to normal. Hope to see you back sailing our beautiful waters soon.
Many thanks for sharing your adventures and all the footage! Interesting canvas / curved roof structures at 6:14 - is it a restaurant or residence? Also great to see Necker Island from a third person aerial, of course he has his own giant windmills and pink famlingos lol.
Your videos are awesome!!! We feel like a crew of Greatcircle (great name) and we sail with you!!! Stay Safe!! (Next time that you will be in Greece it will be a pleasure to meet!)
I'm glad all of you remain safe and well. There are definitely worse places you could be forced to remain, here in Australia the cold weather is coming, beaches are closed and you are not allowed to be out without a VERY good reason, even swimming and fishing are prohibited to keep spreading this virus under control. Keep yourselves safe and well.
Same here but probably more a solidarity thing than that it actually contributes. Don’t see a medical reason why we couldn’t sail around as long as we don’t meet other people.
I love your videos! And this relaxing music. Thank you very much for your great work! Please stay save and healthy. (And what catamaran is that at 3:25?)
Guys, techs question, at 9.56 I can see the furling loop for the code zero going back to a block. Did you splice the loop after feeding the line through the block? I’m trying to work out how to do for my code 0. Thanks!
It already came like this with the furler, but splicing seems to be a good idea. Make sure the line is thick enough so it won’t slip on the furler when wet
No other option, but agreed, we can’t complain. Even our fellow country men on the Dutch islands aren’t to enthusiastic to receive us anymore... Yes we saw the unmolding video, beautiful design

robert marty yes we would be able to get back to the Netherlands later this week, but leaving the boat behind in the hurricane zone without knowing when we will be able to get back doesn’t feel like a sensible option. The Dutch Antilles of course all have their special status. No further comment ....

It does in some cases, you can check upfront in TH-cam studio most of the times. Normally it’s just that all proceeds go to the copyright owner, that’s not 100% fair but fine with me
totally off subject. when things get back to "normal" we plan to spend a few weeks going up and down the Netherlands on a boat. what comprehensive waterways guild book do you recommend (in english) we purchase to get us ready? Cruising the Canals & Rivers of the Netherlands is what we are looking at right now but it seems dated.. 2018 edition ... im sure most information is still valid but since you are dutch and you know sailing , what do you guys recommend? we are looking for both digital and hard copy... thanks
Sorry can’t really tell you as we don’t use them in the Netherlands. Probably the ANWB has published stuff but not even sure whether that’s available in English. Sailboat? Go to the IJsselmeer and the Waddenzee en visit all the beautiful little villages that will already cover several weeks
Yep. Without being able to move it gets a bit difficult to be the man with the 1000 images (all the same...). My editing-rsi will probably be happy with this forced break
I am so addicted to this channel: 1st class all the way, Highest regards, CAPT. Christine
Thanks for your warm feedback
Love this channel. As an old sailor this format is the best of all the sailing channels... Thank you
Larry Mills you’re very welcome
Your videos are always wonderful, but this was extraordinarily beautiful. Great music too! Thank you for sharing with us!
Appreciate the music and photography for capturing the beauty and sadness at the same time.
Yes it’s a strange combination, the empty and deserted beauty isn’t it
Thank you for giving us the most beautiful videos.
De rien, je vous en prie
It's so nice to answer me in French.
Great videography representing the beauty of the British Virgin Islands at sea under curfew. Hope you’re still safe😀.
Couldn’t be safer for now 😂

Concerning music in the background, this is the best youtube channel ever ! 👍👍👍
Probably because other channels use free music so they can earn money in return for all of their efforts in making the videos. Glad you like it.
Have to agree, classic chillout and Balearic!
Thank you for taking me home during this period of social distancing. So wish I could be there!
