EDIT: Plugin is updated and working now. PREVIOUS COMMENT: Aria no longer works in Zotero since the upgrade to Zotero 7. If you wish to use it , retain a version of Zotero 6.
I find your videos very helpful, thank you. I'm doing my doctorate and you've made my life so much easier! I would be interested to know if Aria can look within Zotero and search for additional articles that are not in your library.
Thank you Bronwyn. I appreciate you taking the iime to comment. I am also doing a doctorate so if there is anything specific you would like me to cover, let me know and I will see what I can do. Cheers.
Thanks for the nice review. You have many duplicated pdfs associated with your articles/research material, as is often the case. Two questions: do you know if importing 4 or 5 copies of a pdf into the ai causes it to 'overweight' the contents of those duplicated pdfs? and 2) is there (or why isn't there), a plug-in or built in way to remove or merge duplicate pdfs, just like one can merge duplicate articles?
You are correct about the duplicates. They are the result of the PDFs coming from the attachment to the article and a second one from another plugin. I have restructured my Zotero recently and remove duplicates on a regular basis. It seems it isn't possible to manage them like the Zotero duplicate articles feature. forums.zotero.org/discussion/74119/remove-duplicate-pdf-files
Nice video. However, I have two questions: 1) Does it insert references in the body of the document? I see notations like (ID83) or (ID290), but I can't find these IDs in the bibliography. How does this work? and 2) Does it work with ChatGPT-4 by default, or do I need to have a ChatGPT subscription first?
Thanks for highlightng this tool. Have you tested its rigour/accuracy/trustworthiness? I have had mixed results from various GPT4 PDF summarisers/interrogators.
Still testing but as an extensive user of AI I check everything. The big consolation is that tools generally only get better. Bear in mind that it is using your PDFs stored in Zotero as its base, not a common crawl. This should make it more reliable. Cheers.

It is resolve now. Right?
@@manouchk38 is it resolved yet?
@@eseninkafasiguzel at least there is a plugin for zotero 7. I've not tested it (I have zotero 6 here).
@@manouchk38 I have tested it and surprisingly it's not worth money at all. And also I would like to learn from someone who actually benefited from it
You're the only one om you tube who explained this amazing tool so far. Thank you so much it has incredible potential.

I have problems because when I enter the generated API it gives me an error that it does not find chatgpt 4
same here... :/ In previous comments there is that it only works with Zotero 6... But I hoped it is solved by now...

Hi Ric,thank you for the tutorial. How do you install a Sci Hub plugin in Zotero? I see it in your list of plugins there
Instructions are on the github site. github.com/ethanwillis/zotero-scihub. Cheers.
Thanks mate@@ricraftisau
This is really helpful, thanks. Can you clarify what paid service is needed from ChatGPT for ARIA integration?

Thank you very much! Question: how much did those searches cost?🙂
It's not something I keep track of I'm afraid.
A lot. If you upload big file then so much.
Perfect. Thank you.
Is this legal?
