Man. I'm so friggin excited that this seems to be doing well. I've been an AC fan since the friggin PS1, and it just hurt every time they put the series in the basement. Like 3rd gen was my jam, FA hit the right notes to feel similar, and VD had cool mechanics, but was hard to get into. Still, tangent, just great to see more of this!
Souls Software, man. Now, we just have excuses year after year from them--about "how can we make an AC for today's audience" and "sorry, we'll definitely make them" and all that. At the very least, one of the ex-From staff put out a decent AC-esque game, huh? Even if it is a bit different from the standard AC experience.
@@CoffeePotato 3rd Gen style, 4th Gen themes, 5th Gen features, all anime-fied. What's missing on my end is a PC port, but since Nintendo helped develop it I'm fine with waiting for another game. I'm just glad that DxM is showing the world that there is still and always will have a market for customizable mecha action.
@@TheRibbonRed I wish, wish, wish, wish I had a switch for this game. Dang it job, make me money! But yeah, Nintendo had a freaky amount of quality, I hope they keep this up!
I played daemon X when it came out on PC, really, my biggest gripe with the game is that the factory exists in the way that it does, or rather, it is the only way to get new gear besides taking it off dead enemy arsenals. That, combined with the weapon and armor modding system, which is almost as bad as the shop in armored core 1-2AA, in the fact that you have to go through four menus to do something that should just be in the garage. (Also, just a little side annoyance of the modding system, because mod slots are random on gear, it means that some rifle will be straight up better than another rifle of the same type, but not only are these mod slots not purchasable as far as I could tell throughout my two playthroughs, they can only be found from enemy drops on some weapons, which I feel kind of creates a situation where a gun can become redundant because of a random drop, which I feel personally, actually subtracts from the game as a whole.)
Though overall I still really enjoyed daemon X, though I wish that some of the online features weren't online exclusive (ex: higher difficulty boss fights with unique rewards) but still overall pretty good.

@@TheRibbonRed Hell it's like a comic version of 3rd meets 4th gen with 5th gen gadgets, it's exactly what I wanted from 6

What's the song used at the beginning? It seems familiar but I can't put my finger on it
Destiny (Mission 3).
