For actual beginners: Play the normal game until ~level 70+, that's when azurite becomes more plenty. I also spent my azurite and such and was wondering how to fricking advance in this mine... SeanC has answered the question of "but what if I ran out of sulphite/azurite?" in many a comment below, and this appeared to be his answer.
Its great there is so much content to get stuck into, but that also makes it very overwhelming! Just do your best to not worry about if your doing content optimally or not to start with and just focus on learning the basics, so much of the game is based on RNG anyhow. When your ready to learn more about a subject you can get yourself on TH-cam and do some research! This league is the first time I've tried crafting properly in over 1000 hours of gameplay 🤣. I still have a lot to learn, but that keeps it interesting.
Been playing about 3 weeks, fell down the rabbit hole a few times. Azurite mind was complicated, but went to see your build, now I am in the path of Building hole. This game is sooo big. I love it, but I know nobody that plays, I have not played with anyone so far as I am trying to mess up just for me right now. Thanks for the video.
Yeah the game has the depth that keeps you coming back! My advice, don't try understand everything at once 🤣. With massive updates every 3 months the learning never stops, but neither does the replay value!
Hey dude, the Mine is more of an 'End-Game' system, you will find much more sulphite then in the maps, which is the main end game porgression. When you first encounter the mine it is just a 'taster' and you get very limited sulphite. Appoligies for not covering this in the video.
Thanks for the early support and positive feedback! Been super busy recently with work, but looking forward to the new Harvest League and loads of new content planned 😁!
I think its finally basic mate, there are certainly more advanced beginners guides out there. If you struggling with anything let me know and I will try help you out.
Thank you. This is where i got confused. Currently it says i dont have enough to move the minecart elsewhere and cant figure out what to do cuz rhe cart wont start or go anywhere.
Thanks for the feedback, sorry many other people in the comments had the same question. I will pin the answer to the video later. Here's my last answer to this: The first mine visit is fairly brief, and you will run out of sulphite. Now that you have found Niko the mine master though, he will randomly appear in zones you enter, and give you 3 lots of sulphite! Once you get to the end game and run maps, you can also use sulphite scarabs to force Niko to appear in maps, and you will get daily master missions that force him into your maps. Seeing him during the acts is unfortunately a small introduction, but delving is something your character can focus on at end game.
@@seanyc4882 OMFG THANK YOU!!! I've been stuck and trying to figure this out! Now I can move on with my life lol. This game is so complicated and the PoE Wiki didn't help at all with understanding this. It sucks that I have to go look so much stuff up on TH-cam just to play this game.
Nice vid, dude. This inspired me to make a cyclone duelist myself, as my level 70 arc witch (following Enki's build) struggled in the depths occasionally.
Hardly beginners guide, because the beginning of mines are waaaaaaay different than this end-game type of deal. I have trouble understanding how to get the darn sulfite to begin with, and I can't even get Azurite to upgrade because I need sulfite to advance, and it's not easy to advance at the very beginning. No mention of how to get sulfite as a beginner.
Hello! I just advanced to Act 4 and did the "tutorial" for the mine and when I was done it told me I needed to craft dynamite with the Azurite I got, but I didn't see that and I upgraded the wrong thing. I don't have enough Voltaxic Sulphite to take the mining cart on another trip down into the mines to get more. So uhh, I don't know what to do and where to go from here. If you know it'd be greatly appreciated if you could help me.

I am stuck. I have upgraded and crafted items leaving myself with just 1 Azurite. I do not know how to acquire anymore. I can't go left, right, up or down in the mine because I dont have enough currency.
Hi Kyle, you will find Niko the Delve master randomly when running map's, and be able to get 3 bunches of sulphite. You will also get master missions from Niko randomly while completing maps, and daily map mission's from him. Also you can use a Sulphite Scarab (the more expensive ones give more sulphite) with your map to make sure Niko appears 100%, but they can be expensive. Depending on level of maps, depends on how much sulphite (up to about 5,500 on a tier 16 mission). I tend to let my sulphite build up and then, spend an hour delving. But if you really want to delve more, buy some sulphite scarabs on POE trade, Rusted Sulphite Scarabs are currently around 2 chaos orbs each.
SeanyC Thanks for responding, I’m on my first character that I’m following a real build guide so I’m still learning the game. Will definitely look into maps when I get there.
@@manifessst No worries Kyle, I am currently streaming POE on twitch, I can explain more of Delver there if you like and show you some more! Thanks for the support! www.twitch.tv/seanyc87
Thanks dude, this is a Champion Cyclone build focusing on physical damage and high sustain. This build has changed since this video, but try this build here: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2775438 It is very league starter friendly.
If you're not at the end of the story, just run through random zones and hope Niko shows up with more Sulphurite missions so you can do more delving. If you have finished the story, (Act10 / Epilogue) you can use the map tool that you unlock in your hideout to occasionally force him to spawn in the zone. Once you have enough to go delving, you need to pick out loot spots in the tunnels that reward Azurite. This may require some work as not every node you can unlock will reward you with Azurite - some may give gear or other items. Just be patient and do what you can!
Honestly, i must be doing it wrong, getting clobbered at the beginning of the mine, level 45. Also stuck on one of the arena ls in the maze, stupid thousand "turkeys" all at once. Thought i was doing well at the game till i hit the mine stuff
Later on in the game you will get Niko missions in maps, and find him periodicly in maps. There are also Sulphite Scarabs which you can use when opening maps to 100% spawn Niko to get more sulphite. You can buy them off other players for in game currency on POE Trade
SeanyC so when I got stuck I was doing the sticks of dynamite quest and just threw them all over cause I didn’t know what they looked like, so then even if I haven’t finish that quest will I still be able to get other missions from Niko?
@@trippinballs101 The mission to use the dynamite is just to get you familiar with delving into the shadowy areas to unlock secret caches of goodies. Hi Chaw, you mean the layout of your mine? They are randomised towards your account, so my map will be different to yours. There are certain location's you may want to prioritise, like currency, fossil or azurite locations.
You won't find much until you finish Act 10 and go into the Epilogue, as there is only a -chance- to find Niko on any given map. Once you finish the story, you'll be given access to a giant map tool in your hideout that will allow you to force a sulphurite/Niko mission in the next zone.
Hi Mike, what level are you? When you are leveling up you only find a very small amount of sulphite (pre level 70ish) ao progression is very limited. When you get to the end game you will find a lot more sulphite when completing maps and be able to travel deeper.
Hi John, thanks for the sub! It does indeed go on for ever in all directions! Every character on the league on your account will have the same mine, but it will be unique for your account. Once you get to a level that's comfortable you can just Path left and right.
I just learned nothing of it... because I don't know at WHAT level it is possible to go into the mines, as a templar. So, you don't explain that! Watching further not neccessary! And yea, I just day by the 1st big spider and have a pretty good setup.
when you click on the "Crawler" (machiney thing on wheels) a map appears, and in the top left corner of that map, a button with a candle on it is shown which reads "Visit: Mine Encampment" on the right of it. Click that and you spawn back up on the surface.
You are not at all helpful to a beginner. You jumping around with high level stuff and no basic mining information. Where do i find more Sulfite and Azurite. How do you use the torches and dynamite. I bought some and dont even know where they are or how to activate them. Or where to activate. Good luck with your mostly high level video. It is incoherent to the beginner.
