Shared Destiny - Epiphany Cover | Monika vs. R

Alright, I'll say it. I'm not great at this song. I don't know if I'm just bad at hitting the regular notes or if it's something to do with the speed, but something is just too much for me. But guess what? I did it anyway.
Also tried experimenting with a few new scripts and events this time. Looks like everything worked out fairly well, but there's still improvements that can be made.

I feel that Monika and R are both assaulting the player simultaneously, as both are virtual self-conscious entities wishing to get out. The fact that Monika is a safe file and R is a virus is what allows them to do such a thing, so the player was trying to eliminate them in secrecy while listening to both of them sing so that they wouldn't suspect a thing.
I don't know, I just theorized this stuff being sleepy.

That's an interesting take on the story, actually. Though I wouldn't fully consider Monika a "safe" file.
The way I see it is that R knows Monika isn't supposed to be there either, so she's trying to take her out even if she gets deleted herself.

I mean, considering it's a Vs. between them, it makes more sense. I just called Monika a safe file because she's not exactly a virus, but a sentient being who ended up learning way more than what she should.
Nevertheless, this is actually one of my favorite Epiphany covers. Not only because of the theme, but because of how much they complement each other.

probably it's bc she's a virus. i mean deleting unverified files also means deleting the viruses that came along with them. i mean, R isn't supposed to be there after all (considering she's from a different mod), same goes to monika (as in the "not supposed to be there"). idk but this is an assumption, there could be any other explanation.
