i get a bunch of people who add me on steam and try to take my valuable tf2 items, like my crappy unusuals and less crappy golden weapons, and more importantly, my licensed team fortress 2 pants. but they aren't too bright so i never fall for their tricks and so i like having a bit of fun messing with these tf2 scammers. i briefly outlined some points in the video but please educate yourselves about scams if you have items that are worth quite a bit of money!

This reminded me the time I once convinced a scammer that I had cancer and had a month to live. To my surprise he started sending me prayers and said that he was a scammer and not to fall for scams like these.i regret saying that now...

The penny trading joke killed me because I'm not very well versed in TF2 trading and legit though penny trading was some sort of obscure TF2 trading term.
it kinda is, but people mostly just call it scrapbanking or 241 trading

All scammers I meet are "born" in 1998. Just proves that anyone born after 1993 can't scam. All they know is Steam, Russian Cloudflare, gamble, play highlander, post links and die.

@David Nothing, it's referencing a common type of item scam. The joke is that scammers always pretend that they have a comp team and need a player (exactly whatever class you main). Then, they get you to log in to a fake comp site that takes your login info so they can steal your account.
I hope more people got that reference

I nearly got scammed when I was younger and still think about how stupid I was to this day. It irritates me, but It brings me peace to know that the scammers are getting trolled and having their time wasted like this.

I honestly had no clue that the highlander team was a scam thing, I've been approached and given that kind of scam before, didnt click on it but thought it was legit.
Yeah that's a super common one unfortunately. I made a "scammer red flags" video and that was one of them.
They ALMOST got me with that scam, they told me to vote for their team and I almost logged in using their website - thankfully I realized the login thing was fake before I put in the confirmation number, changed my password for food measure too
