It had to be some sort of engineering or more likely an engineering technology position and not entry level. She's right up there with any I have worked with and better than most.

I wish there were more people in the world like you that make what at first seems like something only fit for the scrap yard as good as new again & maybe even better than before. In this world of people just throwing away things when they break you prove that true recycling is possible & makes great sense. Thank you for the inspiration to make me not throw away a generator I have & I stripped it down & got it going again & giving it a thorough service at the same time. It is now better than new & doing the job better than ever. You are a true engineer. Thanks 🙏 from England 🏴

no one wants to pay the labour costs when you can just replace it with warranty for not much more and with pump manufacturers now getting their pumps made in china reliability has gone to shit
Respect where respect is due, you are phenomenal in mastering repairs of these products, I must say your smile is contagious, wish you all the best for now, I hope more women like you, get the respect they deserve, michael power, IRELAND [EIRE]
Unbelievably smart woman. Just when you think that you're pretty sharp after haaving accomplished something tough, you need to watch this video to bring yourself back to eaarth. Very well done Ma'am.
I hope that you take time to enjoy life. It seems like a lot of videos with excellent repairs and very high work ethic. The electric scooter you repaired awhile ago take that for a fun ride. I’m sending a smile back to you Linguoer have a nice days.🙂
It's a single-phase shaded pole motor (110 VAC, is single phase, and the capacitor means it's a shaded pole motor) but she did an amazing job. It's very similar to the exact technique we used to rewind motors in my days in the Navy. Well done!
After watching a few of your videos, I’m ordering one of those “Japanese T-bar” tool and incorporating it in my work to see how many tools it will replace. You are stunning!
I just found and started watching Linguoer's videos, tonight, and it didn't take long for me to fall in love. I'm sure the line is long. She has got to be the prettiest, smartest, and strongest female mechanic I've ever seen.
Clear she has worked in a factory for some years, practice makes perfect, the winding shop I worked in heated the fresh wound field coils in an oven then while hot submerge them in the varnish then back into the oven for a cooking, over an open fire is a bit rough, never the less good effort, bet dads got a winding shop, go girl😊
@@set3777 Yes the word "Factory" was implying or meaning working with other Tradesman, Factory being a common place for that, Her knowledge base and skills are so broad its a sure bet they are not self taught, She must have worked with several good tradesman both Mechanical and Electrical and to be so young she must have started in nappies, like I said bet she worked with her Dad.
Amazing! I've watched a couple of this young ladies videos and I am stunned. I have tradesman mates with all the tools in the world that couldn't do a fraction of what this girl does with minimal tools. There is no substitute for talent. I'll subscribe.
I doubt your mates work on such relatively simple equipment, plus they get paid better and have other things to do with their spare time. The problem is when you repair something in this fashion, you need to offer the warranty. So if it fails for some reason you need to pull it down and figure why. When you balance out the cost of all that, it's better to buy a new one and offer a warranty. I'm willing to bet rewiring a motor isn't that difficult once you have done a few. She only needs minimal tools because the machines she is working on don't require anything more sophisticated, but if you have ever done any mechanical repair, you would know having the right tool makes things a lot easier rather than spending an afternoon fighting with something using the wrong tool.
@@Cheepchipsable Mate you are a wrong, some of what you said is on point but to try to minimise this girls obvious talent because you feel butt hurt is sad. She is no threat to you and your ego. Yep warranties blah blah blah. Watch a few more of her videos, this girl can fix just about anything. Tradies are often dedicated, hardworking sole traders and work their trade as much as her to pay for all the expensive things we enjoy like homes and cars. But they stick to their lane and are all but useless at most anything else. They have all the tools in the world and still manage to screw up their own trade half the time, that's why they need to give warranties, which is handy because you wouldn't have to wait a year for it to break, you can see the moment they finish that they fucked it.. Maybe just have some respect a good word for the girl who I bet would run rings around your sorry ass every day and twice on Sundays. Just a thought.
Look how many skills we've lost in the USA. There used to be many old timers that used to do this in a small shop. Now we just throw everything away. She does beautiful work in everything she does. Very nice job...again.

*If you have to do all this labor on the coils they should be put in a vacuum chamber with coil vanish to cement the wires tightly so they do not wiggle and short out again. A vacuum varnished coil can last over 100 years or more. Coil shorts are the #1 cause of motor failure with capacitors second but caps. are easy to replace.*

Few would contemplate rewinding motors but you make it look easy, something it's most certainly not!
no one wants to pay the labour costs when you can just replace it with warranty for not much more and with pump manufacturers now getting their pumps made in china reliability has gone to shit

Unbelievably smart woman. Just when you think that you're pretty sharp after haaving accomplished something tough, you need to watch this video to bring yourself back to eaarth. Very well done Ma'am.
They happiness on your face, when you completed your task is so amazing. It actually shows your passion and love for work you do. 💕
She is smart and strong lady. Do some design and work for money.
Yes the smile says it all.
😌
My oh my! Miss Lin you're so amazing I can't find any appropriate word to describe your skills.
Young lady, this is great work, you have skills beyond many people in a similar line of work. Nice to see this being restored and not thrown away. :-)
No women did this, not possible. see reply above.
@@realityisreal1360 is boy? I am confuse
Wow ! I’m impressed every time I watch you wind up a motor.
Your skills are beyond amazing.
She NEVER worked in a factory.
You got to love that cute little smile while she is working and that big smile when she makes it work. A truly special young lady.
Very skilled and talented. The rewinding of the motor was very impressive. Keep up the good work.
The most impressive part was the rewiring. That's an extraordinarily difficult thing to do correctly.
The oil alone in the pump can cost more the the pump new.
i think the most impressive part is her, most women in my country can barely use a microwave...
@@kalhoon Not really. considering the pump manufacturer had to pay for his insulating oil and manufacture the pump. Just buying the oil is always cheaper
@@mobuildsstuff in bulk maybe ,but I looked for some for one I was fixing, $150 qt . To fix a $95 pump
@@kalhoon that’s only a capella oil that cost only 2usd per liter way back 2002 to 2014 that’s my job motor rewinding etc. it’s rare to see a woman can do the job from start to finish i know few of girls can do motor rewinding but their knowledge in electrical is limited. Sorry if my English is not that good.
Man to say the least I'm blown away by her skill and patience that rewiring was something to watch

Did you ever consider she went to a trade school? I don't know how young you think she is, but she is not that young.
@@Cheepchipsable 🤣🤣🤣 did you consider i went to trade schools?🤔😒...panelbeating, automotive, building and construction, electrical and even went though horticulture, architecture and legal studies! I'm 35yo and grew up in a metal head family, you dont find diesel mechanics that easily these days unless you're a apprentice and at that you're watching over their shoulder for how long. She gutted that pump like a cow and put the bloody thing back together like she's been doing it for 20yrs
And with you saying "she ain't that young"...you have to be young yourself to say that coz she can't be over 27yo! Thats still young
This repair is perfect! This girl is doing an excellent job.
Well, I'm impressed... I enjoy seeing such restorations, especially when watching from here in the US in our throw-away society. Finding anyone here to do such windings would not be something found on every corner (it's more than a little time-consuming). Nice vid.
@Max Mustermann Very true... It's like a lot of items these days, eh?
I suspect these machines are not very cheap in her village. And she repairs them for free. Very useful to have her as a neighbor.
yep shes a keeper alright lol
@Max Mustermann . Probably NOT cheaper , where that Young Lady lives . Throw away Societies don't exist Everywhere .
I Agree 👍 Impressive.
It's amazing how a good mechanic can not only fix about anything. They can do it Without a rollaway with $50,000 of Snap-On Tools 🤗 , or whatever your preferred brand 😂
And I also agree. I think one of our main exports here in the US, Is Garbage. Pretty Sad.
one word Respect!
We call it a submersible pump( dompelpomp )(some kind then!)) here in the Netherlands,
BUT I can't imagine it being cheaper to buy a new one instead of repairing it?
Healthy and Friendly Greetings from the Netherlands!

Я не имею никакого отношения к ремонтам, но то, что делаешь ты, меня очень впечатляет, каким же надо быть гением , чтобы это починить, Я в восторге
What I like about your restoration projects is it is more than just cosmetics, it if the total package of Electrical Rewinding of the motors, the removing of rust, sandblasting the rough castings, painting and reassembly of the finished item with care and precision, good job.
Just beautiful work, I know this style of pump and normally in this condition it's a throw away. But the incredible Lin never lets anything go to scrap.
Wow! I don't meet many women with such great mechanical skills. Very impressive, rescuing a pump anyone else would have just thrown away. Well done! Cheers from Canada.
You're an amazing person. Great job. Especially using the basic tools you have. 👍🏼
Incredible! You must have a photographic memory to remember how it all goes back together. I do get worried about your lovely hair getting caught in something. Love this channel!

*If you have to do all this labor on the coils they should be put in a vacuum chamber with coil vanish to cement the wires tightly so they do not wiggle and short out again. A vacuum varnished coil can last over 100 years or more. Coil shorts are the #1 cause of motor failure with capacitors second but caps. are easy to replace.*
very impressive work, especially with simple hand tools. a helpful idea is to mount your wire winder onto a board so you can C-clamp it to the table instead of having to screw it down every time you need to use it.
I cannot imagin an european girl with the skill to make that job , these asiatic people are to admire!
mad skills in rewiring the coil! I bow down to you, I'm not worthy!
This lady is amazing smart! I have watched 4 or 5 of these videos and I would have no idea what to do but she does it and makes it look easy!
Incredible job! Especially the coil rewind. That's tedious work. This should work like new now.

Respect to you for knowing how to properly rewind all these motors !
