Yes, I have been admiring his work for a long time now. I just don’t have that Dr. Apa cash flow lmao...I’m undergoing Invisalign right now..I’ll just have to stick with that until I make my millions 😂
I agree. But... I have veneers that are worth just as much if not more. At 16 my choices were dentures or veneers as my teeth were so broken that I couldn't eat anything as hard as a potato chip. So all of my teeth except 6 are veneers now. Completely changed my life. Not just with eating, but my entire mental health. I was bullied so intensely for my teeth from age 6 until I finally got my veneers completed at 18. I'm so thankful that I had great dental insurance and grateful that my parents took out a 10k loan to cover the out of pocket costs.
Emphasis on "a bit". Yes, there is a difference between before and after, but it's so marginal. 60000 is a very good yearly salary for most people. But that means everything you earn to sustain your complete life. Putting that amout aside for an unneccesary cosmetic procedure with little effect every 10 years?
I could get pay off some loans, go on vacay, learn a new language, get an entirely new wardrobe, buy a new car and pay for accordion lessons for 60k! My teeth are pretty bleh but dang I could def find other stuff that made me happier Edit: btw she looks great!
Sorry to say but I've been in the dental field for a long while myself and I've seen some dentists do work that comes out exactly like that and they don't charge nearly as much. The most I've ever seen charged for a veneer is $1800 a tooth. But I guess when you're a celebrity dentist you can charge outrageous prices. And no, it's not a 'New York' thing.
Agree, I mean I was hoping for something unseen 🤔 like a super FANCY office, tools, but I swear veneers almost looks like a copy of mine, little different, but I paid 700 € each. Can't say anything about office, but from 1st look could be atleast bit more luxurious for TOP name, and how can they like not make venners on the spot especially for that price.
Also, not a big enough change for her upper jaw in bringing it forward, I felt like I saw only a slight change. Could of done better IMO, that's not a $60000 smile 😆
Sunny..totally true! But is this the only way you can get them done? At 60k? I have heard of cheaper veneers. At least we could do something productive with that money ✌🏻
Swetha Ak no I agree with you there fully it should not be so expensive like her teeth cost more than a new car! Maybe if she had left NYC she would have gotten a way better deal
$60,000?!?! She was complaining about lip support and the doctor said yes her upper jaw is small. For the same amount of money she would have been better served getting facial appliances for expansion.
H. DeBeau yeah I’ve been learning a lot about dentistry and facial science just from videos online since I’m correcting my current misalignment. But that’s totally effin absurd. Even maxillofacial surgeons wouldn’t have charged her that much to fix a mandible 🤕 poor thing. I don’t believe in celebrity doctors, just send me to who’s been in practice long as knows what they’re doing.
i agree. i have an appliance in right now. they told me i coudnt do it at 27 but everything is moving along perfectly. my smile looks better than ever and i havnt even got the braces yet.
you can go to asian countries its a lot cheaper!! its like less than $400 per tooth! plus the dentist and staff are very accommodating. you should do more research. :)
Composite veeners is cheaper and less invasive. The treatment doesn't require chipping away your tooth, the resin just goes on top of your natural teeth.
idk if i sound crazy or not but something about her reminds me of a young female version of quentin tarantino. especially at 1:55. like something about her mouth/smile and nose is reminding me of him lol

Whether theyre worth it or not, thats some amazing work, definitely an improvement. Who's to say a brand new smile that can change your confidence and how you approach every social interaction in your life isnt worth more than a car?
Anna Mamontova omg yes I was so trigger by that my teacher would kick my ass for not wearing glasses or mask also that price was ridiculous her teeth wasn't bad at all ;/
Cost aside i still would not get veneers. I've worked in the dental industries for too long to know that your natural teeth will always be the best, the strongest and don't have to worry about it popping out, teeth sensitivity, nerve damage, cracked bc it's frail and replacements as these veneers do not last more than 20 or 30 years before it starts to have problems. The only exception would be your natural teeth are really terrible, bite is incorrect, decaying teeth, and major discoloration. Other than that, it's best to stick with your natural teeth.
I got 2 veneers on my front teeth because i got into an accident which broke them. I have always felt weird about it i didn't even know people actually want veneers lmao.
You know what, even tho i might not love my smile, it’s something that makes me unique. I wouldn’t spend thousands of dollars on something that doesn’t make me insecure. Also there is sooo much more i can buy that will fulfill my happiness.
It’s funny how she’s a dental student. Maybe they should teach you that your teeth serve a far more important role than just a smile. Great job filing down your real teeth 👍🏼
I have veneers and they were 56k ,I am so grateful my parents were able to afford them it made me so much more confident and made me feel better about myself
$6k per tooth damn I've heard the average is $2k a tooth but this wow. I think it's because it's New York plus he's very famous for his veneers so people are willing to pay because of his experience and expertise you'd rather pay more for something like this instead of skimping and it's ruined.
The more popular/in demand a dentist is, the more he feels he can charge for his work as long as if it's out of pocket and not done through dental insurance. The dentist I work for charges $1500 a tooth and I'm in NY as well.
Shiat Ali I noticed it. It just wasn't very significant is all. Her original smile, her front teeth were actually uneven to the rest of her incisors... almost kinda like she had a mix of both adult/baby teeth but once they implanted the veneers on top, it gave her a more realized smile. Her teeth before look like how my teeth were in my 2nd grade school photos a bit 😂 I think it just simply wasn't worth no $60k WOW smile. But like those older Mastercard commercials: *"new veneers :$60k ,cost of a brand new lease on life? Priceless, for everything else there's MasterCard"* ☺
Alex Hu agreed. There’s other disharmony that causes unattractive features here and her teeth are the least of the issue at large. No offense to her... $60K not well-spent.
worst thing is that the NEED to be replaced. because they drill your teeth before putting the veneers on, making them worse before better . they're not like implants where you can decide to take them off, because their natural teeth are fucked up.
I get my trial smile fitted next week & I’m so excited for the final product 🤩 Having said that, my 10 veneers are not costing $60,000 here in London despite being a Harley Street dentist. That’s wild money 😱😱😱
Kellie C I agree with you, when you get veneers you are shaving down the natural enamel .. this can cause a lot of sensitivity down the road not to mention veneers are not that strong they break all the time. She was better off with her natural teeth. Not to mention you have to change them every 10-20 years.
Yes, proper orthodontics could fix her bite issues which is clearly the problem. How does a dental student (?!!) or dentist not know this would be better fixed with jaw realignment..
you're paying for the expertise of a great dentist plus the lab fees for veneers that look like real teeth versus cheap ones that look like gum chiclets. if you can afford it and you don't have nice teeth, it's worth every penny. your smile is everything. it's not like a butt you can cover with pants lol.
These aren’t just for cosmetic appearance. I got these done because of TMJ in hopes of having my jaw rest in the correct position. Without it I had to wear a bite split 24/7. You also don’t always get to pick how they look.
My dentist advised me not to get veneers because it is just there for cosmetic appeal and it is not strong. It's really easy to damage these and they cost so much
Good for her for doing what she feels best with and putting the work in to be able to pay for this! Lots of hate on here, who cares! Do what you want with what you’ve got, that’s how I feel. 😊
As a dental student.. dental school makes me appreciate imperfection of teeth.. cause teeth are like humans different but beautiful .. enamel and dentin is amazingly beautiful structure .. I understand her so much and her teeth looks amazing before and after if she happy with I love it ..
I would totally get this done since my teeth are stained by too much pop and acidic food. But I’m sure I can get it done here in Canada for less then 60K.
My brother got veneers about five years ago under $20k still very expensive, but he had the money to do it...so worth it because his confidence improved so much.

I got 2 veneers when I was like, 12. They helped close my gap a tiny bit. I still have a defined gap (to keep my smile unique) but its also not taking over my smile.
I’ve had such a low self esteem all my life because of my teeth and i would probably do anything to have this procedure it made me so jealous watching this because her teeth were fine before.
I don't think she paid that much, it's a marketing plot, they're advertising... but in my opinion, it's worth to do it but not for this price! Beautiful, white, fresh smile is the biggest attraction and younger look.
Everyone complaining about the price need to chill. Price for her was not a big deal and she now feels more confident. I have good natural teeth but if i didn't i would look for an option like this. Going overseas to get them done is a cheaper option but there is nothing like going to one of the top guy or gal in the field like she did in this video for peace of mind to get it done right and not have to fly to a totally different country if it was done wrong.
Yea she looks way better but 60k lol a rhinoplasty is only 5500-16k. Teeth should be a fraction of the hardest plastic surgery which is the rhinoplasty.
I would love to get this done but could not tolerate all those things in my mouth. I hate when my regular dentist works in my mouth much less this. Plus the cost is so high.
And here I am now on the edge of considering invaslign after having gone through braces and one year of retainers as a teen ..it's not a whole lot but its not free either.
For 60k she could have gotten corrective jaw surgery to fix her retrognathic maxilla. Her nose also could be adjusted for a straighter profile. Lip fillers too. As a fellow dental student, she should have known better.
Why does everyone have to be so negative? She’s not hurting anyone or bothering someone else. She has money and that’s how she chose to spend it. It’s not stupid if at the end of the day she’s more comfortable with a new smile.
I have veneers and mine definitely did not cost $60k!! I have my top 10 or 12 done and my parents paid like $10,000 total. They only last like 10-15 years even with good care. I’m about to get mine redone soon. Also, I’m surprised she ate an apple with them. One of the things my dentist told me was don’t eat things like corn and apples, instead cut the apples up and take the corn off the cob. They are very easy to pop off. I have popped mine off several times before eating something as simple as bread
This is ridiculous. I'm a dental assistant in Spain and this procedure would cost her maximum 400€ for each tooth. Also veneers aren't for everyone and it should be one of the last treatments to go for when other alternatives haven't worked, as you're destroying part of your natural tooth for a look that can be achieved a lot more safely with other procedures (as I said, if it's possible before having to go for veneers). A dentist is a specialist in healthcare aswell and should always asses his/her patients into treatments that will not only look good but they're as little invasive and destructive as possible aswell as functional! EVERYTHING in this video is so wrong. It's very upsetting to see these "professionals" (they don't even use protection or materials you'd expect for this price) giving this kind of attention.
Not supposed to bite into apples, or anything hard with veneers, or try to rip off meat with them especially front teeth. No pressure on the ANTERIOR (front) veneers, otherwise, there is a possibility of them "coming off" and because they are thin, may get microscopic/hairline cracks. Veneers require maintenance, people need to keep-up with cleanings, so they are periodically checked, and probably need to be replaced in about 20/25 years, depending on what she eats or how she cares for them. As dentist, they need to inform that to patients. No biting into apples!
Invisalign is a totally different thing / not a surgical procedure at all to whom ever inquired I had a full set uppers and lowers of porcelain veneers done in Manhattan nyc USA. The total fee was tremendously more than stated in this clip & you pay it forward
The people in the comments have no idea what they are talking about. This girl is a dentist I’m pretty sure she knows what’s wrong with her mouth. I personally see a huge difference.
Cost aside- would you get this procedure?
for sure
of course. I've done it twice, and need to go in for a third. but I would NEVEEEER spend 60 k on them. 6,000 max.
No.
COST ASIDE aha love how you add that to the comment.
Yes, I have been admiring his work for a long time now. I just don’t have that Dr. Apa cash flow lmao...I’m undergoing Invisalign right now..I’ll just have to stick with that until I make my millions 😂

It’s a huge difference, when she smiled before it looked almost as if she was disgusted and now she has a really nice smile
I just wanna know what $60,000 looks like.
Danielle Croskey look at her smile. Lol
Literally putting her money where her mouth is
Jay Camacho you have a point there
hahahahaha

Spent 60k to have 10 veneers on that made her upper teeth look a bit longer, straighter and slightly bulkier. Saved you 4 min

I’m from SF. I had two veneers. Each cost around 2500
It depends on the persons teeth. In Toronto it's anywhere from $1500-$2500 per tooth
Also, not a big enough change for her upper jaw in bringing it forward, I felt like I saw only a slight change. Could of done better IMO, that's not a $60000 smile 😆

dan tan same!!! It’s so annoying doctors won’t even try.
its so dumb. its based on the idea that you cant do it in one month like with adolescents. it just takes longer.
She probably just needs jaw surgery
Or braces
she did braces for 2 yrs already tho
cocococo yeah but orthodontists can fuck your teeth up. getting braces is supposed to help correct your jaw too
Exactly! Even the doctor said her top jaw is too small for her face
Exactly! Its a bite issue not a tooth issue..
If she had braces already why did her teeth look so bad before??? She also has an underbite and for sure needed orthodontic help first
poliknoy she probably didn’t wear her retainer often or something
For sure, her teeth were fine he bite is the issue and veneers dont help that in any way..its a jaw issue not a tooth issue!
I want veneers so badly but not for 60k
Jasna Sofija you can definitely get it cheaper somewhere else for just as good

Going overseas to get them done is a cheaper option but there is nothing like going to one of the top guy or gal in the field like she did in this video for peace of mind to get it done right and not have to fly to a totally different country if it was done wrong.
Yea she looks way better but 60k lol a rhinoplasty is only 5500-16k. Teeth should be a fraction of the hardest plastic surgery which is the rhinoplasty.
Michael VR look it up all plastic surgeons say the rhino is the hardest. And a revision is even harder.

Michael VR you gotta be trolling right????

Michael VR lol you said ear pinning. Which is much easier and cost less then a rhino? Your not a troll just stupid. Med school. Lol 😂
She is so cute. With or without them.
I see the difference. Looks nice.
I wonder if people’s breath smells when they have veneers I mean because the tooth paste can’t go into the teeth. So how will it freshen?
the new teeth looooed amazing though
as long as it makes you happy. they look nice!
Looks so good!
Looks gorgeous
She got that Casey Neistat mouth going.
So this is what all the celebrities get...no wonder why they teeth all look the same
Invisalign is a totally different thing / not a surgical procedure at all to whom ever inquired I had a full set uppers and lowers of porcelain veneers done in Manhattan nyc USA. The total fee was tremendously more than stated in this clip & you pay it forward
Definitely worth it
The people in the comments have no idea what they are talking about. This girl is a dentist I’m pretty sure she knows what’s wrong with her mouth. I personally see a huge difference.
She is so beautiful 😍
Veneers are so fragile and not worth 60k. She’ll regret it when they easily break.
So she has glue on her living healthy teeth. Not afraid of building cavities under her veneers?
Braces or Invisalign and getting your teeth whitened is way more practical and cheaper.
how long do they stay on tho?
is this is parmanent ? or means how long it going last
