Squad Roman because all the Carmine brothers are all voiced by the same guy and don’t ever take of their helmets I’m convinced they are actually all clones.

Just had to be her, why couldn’t it just be a random civilian & develop a back story & grow them up to be a good year without any proper training, just straight to combat taught from all her peers around her such as the carmine brother & sister.
There are two ways I can accept this: either he survives all the way to the end or he dies in the final fight that brings an end to the war

Alex Rodriguez She seemed more believable to me as a character
J C That’s interesting, considering she had little to no development. The only thing notable about her character was her intro taking out that snatcher, and the fact she was a Carmine. Meanwhile Kait is actually developed over the course of the past two games and books she’s been in.
Alex Rodriguez exactly. Call me crazy, but even though I liked the drama that Kait went through, the first impression Lizzie left on me made more of an impact than Kait did. Though, I wouldn’t expect everyone to see that. Just the things some people notice through different views, after all

Alphawolf 655 It’s funny since the names go in alphabetical order. Anthony was A, Ben was B, Clayton is C and since Lizzie’s name is actually Elizabeth I’m assuming the fourth brothers name begins with a D.

I feel like lizzie's death is like JD's oh shit moment like aspho fields was for Marcus, they both saved a lot of lives but at the same time cost lives too and felt the guilt for what happened changing them

Seriously, I just want to have a consistent Carmine back in Delta Squad, really saw potential in Lizzie but since The Coalition decided to beat the dead joke of the old "carmine curse" yet again, it literally got blasted away from us.

It's kinda creepy when you realize that Clayton is fighting at the side of the people who created the monsters that killed his father and brothers, idk if he's gonna know about it at some point

They nailed Lizzie as a proper Badass gears! I don’t know how they made her more badass than Kait in these two games with just a few scenes

I just realized when Lizzie called Clayton Carmine “uncle”, could Lizzie be the daughter of the mysterious 4th Carmine brother we haven’t met yet? And is it possible we’ll see him in Gears 6/Gears of War 6?

Gary was also carmines cousin/son/nephew so maybe him and lizzie were cousins/siblings, but anyhow we probably already have seen her father, its probably Anthony Carmine, it cant be benjiman cause he was like 18 when he died and it obviously iant clayton. Poor Lizzie, she seemed like she could have become an awesome character, but sadly GoW has a hate boner for the Carmine family. But while I didn't feel as much sadness as when Benjamin died, I felt more than when Anthony died.
Also as a small note. Does... Clayton not know his niece is dead? cause nobody, not even he brings her up after Delta meet him at that snow place.
And while I know somebody already beat me to this. I gotta say that while (most, coughFahzcoughJDcough) characters in this sequel series are cool. I really wish it didn't exist. I hate how the original characters have been pushed to the side, the Swarm is nowhere near as interesting or fun to fight as the Locust, and the direction they pushed the "tomorrow" that they earned in GoW3, honestly makes me feel as if the COG hasn't learned it's lesson.
I think it’s safe to say like his two brothers, he’s probably gotten use to loss that it doesn’t have much impact on him as it usually would someone else.

You see the truck door get shot and bent a bit. The door was jammed close at that point. She couldn't get it open, even when James came to help.

His name is Madison, we see it on Ben's letter in GOW 2 near his plate there is a letter that is destined for these brothers and his name is inscribed on it
He was a sergeant at that time so he must be an officer in GOW 5 and must surely be lizzy's father

A bit late for this but Clayton probably is stifling it due to his training as a gear of they weren't in a fight he probably wouldn't want to be near him notice how he only spoke to Marcus plus Marcus and Clayton fought in the locust war so he wouldn't do that in front of a fellow vet but Marcus most definitely felt the feeling he had for JD

I wish Lizzie had more screen time- it would’ve been cool to build a “connection” with her character, and show that with training from her Uncle, she at least had a chance compared to the other Carmines.

people always talk about what Marcus Lost in gears. and whilst I'm not saying he hasn't been through the shit, Clayton has truly lost everyone. Clayton loved Dom too, as well as Anya and the others. but he lost his younger brothers, his mom and dad, and his niece that he swore to his older brother he would look out for.
Clayton's curse is that he is the last carmine standing. i just hope we see him in gears 6, and I hope they don't kill him off.

Man, I really hate that Lizzie died. Not only because she was cool and I liked her, but because it invalidates the Save Carmine and the ending of Gears 3 for Clay (also because it was contrived how she didn't exit through the co-pilot's door when she noticed her's was jammed)
What even was the point of losing his brothers in the locust war if now the Locust (swarm) are back and now they got her niece and Gary in GoW4 too. Same applies to Marcus if they decide that killing JD is the canon ending. There's no tomorrow for the Carmine's or the Fenix's.
The Coalition really screwed things up with the Gears 5 story.
How dare they not keep Lizzie alive. She would have been an amazing addition character and possible replacement for Clayton in later games. Instead, she was just used to add onto Marcus Jr.'s trauma
I really wanted Lizzie to survive, not only was she a badass, but she was trained by Clayton Carmine, the only one to survive the Carmine Curse.

@@TotallyToonsTV That's Gary. But he's way too young and it's stablished in his Gears 5 bio that he didn't join the COG, but the outsiders, so he's not the 4th Carmine. So we can infer that he is either Clayton's son (unlikely based on their interactions in Gears 5), the 4th Brothers son, or the son of a relative from the Carmine's, like a cousin of the 4 brothers or something.

They really fumbled killing her off. She would have been a great addition to the squad, I mean she is the Carmine of Kait and JD's generation. I love Clayton to death, but I think it would've been more meaningful if he died saving her. Fit's his character too, saving her to honor his brother before joining Anthony and Ben ? Sounds pretty poetic imo.
