ID80 Bestype is my first board paired with NK Creams. No regrets. Then after 3-4 months I gave it to the new owner. Now I have Mr Suit, Epoch, Spring and qk65 Link65 is otw.
I love the look, not so crazy for the switches but it’s got great rgb and love the keycaps

I feel like idobao has sort of fallen out of the meta lately with the eh mounting style and like of dampening, but it always has a spoecial place in my heart... even if mine feels trash :). also, another great upload! thank you for brightening up my shorts page Becky!

Man ... When i was building boards I remember idobao was just the cheap more bothersome alternative to AliExpress keycaps (where their keycaps wete also for sale) ...
Now they are making pretty boards with weights.
Also with how great entry level boards have gotten I feel super scammed with my gk64 (aluminium diamond case, all in all it cost me 250 euro with keycaps and black ink switches... More considering the work and lubing)
Meanwhile they are selling incredible boards for 150 that have metal cases and weights and spring mounts, and included foams and even bluetooth which is why I got gk68 over better options without by but man looking at qk65/zoom65 etc i just feel scammed lol. Especially since 3the backspace is in the wrong place which you get used too but that messes with your writing on other boards.
Hence even though I love the weight of the gk68. The backspace, the eternally rattling spacebar, the supposed 5.1 bt that from time to time disconnects and sometimes had a delay with typing
It just doesn't come close the my keychron K2 V2 that never disconnects. Never had any lag. Had a battery that lasts 10x as long and charges 100x as fast (i actually put a custom battery in the gk64 making it have decent battery life but still nowhere close to K2 even though both have 4000mah now... And the charging of the gk68 literally takes an entire day)
Anyway I love my K2. After lubing (and Holi modding) the stabs once like 2 years ago I've never had them rattle again
The battery lasts for an eternity. Charges in no time. Never ever had connection issues. And types like you're wired.
I want all the best parts of my K2. In a metal case with a weight, better sound profile, better customizability. Better software support
One thing keychron promised but never delivered was the supposed software that would allow us to customize our K2 button map and LEDs ... Never happened
