There are so many entertainers and shows, guild groups, beautiful crafts and artwork, it can be an amazing experience! I was sad I didn't see one performer in your video, not one show or information about the sword fighting or the Arial acrobat or the warrior equine archers!!

Hi there, you sound like you know a lot about it. Which weekend is the most child friendly. I have a sensitive 7 year old. I'm assuming there's a lot of scary costumes on this fairytale weekend?
@@Beepbopboop19 I wouldn't say there are a lot of scary costumes on any particular weekend.
Perhaps bring a few things incase kiddo gets overwhelmed. Like headphones and a parisol/umbrella wich could help create a safe space if needed (and is a must have for any faire, the sun tales.a toll)
Also, Maybe touch bases with the first aid tent to have a plan incase a break is needed, this can also be done with a few other groups like the fairys or the sweedish court. They are very welcoming and could also provide a safe space if needed.

I was there. Or I tried to go. 3 hours to get 2 miles down the road. Eventually gave up when people were walking away saying it is another 1.5 hour wait to get in even though I prepaid. Super dissapointed, complained on their Facebook page and got my money back! Still a waste of an afternoon and I am yet to ever have gone to a ren faire...
Ah glad you got a refund! Here's hoping we get a proper ren faire experience in WA soon!
This year will be my first attending the OR faire, coming from the Midwest/South. I have semi-low expectations, but I still need to get my renfaire fix!

So fitting that the camera overheated in a video about you and your friends overheating! IT KNEW!! 😲 Sucks that your experience was so rough. I don't react well to heat and dust either. At least it was better than Woodstock '99! (I wasn't there, but I saw a documentary on it... 😬😬😬)

Was this filmed in their previous area? I know that they updated their location to Sky Meadows in snohomish, I'm going and it's my first ren faire but I wanted to make sure I had all the knowledge. I'm not sure if they moved locations this year or if they did it last year (Or whenever this was filmed), if you could let me know then ty!
