The myth of Medusa has evolved over time. In early myths, she was born a Gorgon alongside her sister Stheno and Euryale, however later stories evolved to the more commonly known version where she was a beautiful maiden cursed by Athena.
You know what?, I actually knew this, but I just realized that Athena sounds like a modern U.S. democrat... like a democrat judge punishing the homeowner for not letting the thief steal more of their stuff...
