I love how Xeno has his own pink shadow in his previous animation to the next animation like with Ruv, Sarv, and way more characters with that cool shadow. I also love the events in this, they work so well! Amazing job!
Ironic that Sonic.exe name has been changed to Xeno because his 3 phase is called Xenophase yet when someone calls him that I think they're talking to me
Funnily enough, the actual sketches for this showed it was gonna be SUPER different from the actual you can’t run. But to be honest that was way too ambitious. Cool in concept, but I prefer similar to the actual YCR than like, whatever the hell they were trying to do for the sketches.

I feel like just having the constant rotating of the screen is a bit weird, maybe replacing those with dramatic black boxes covering the top and bottom would be nice (Ik it’s already in the song but we need it in more parts man and for the arrows just put them under the black boxes)

For those who wonder why the pink aura somewhat fits at Sonic is prob because of crystals in his TP (Triple Trouble) form, the pink/purplish crystals. Although it could be just there because *idk they added it ig* it gives of not only that rage mode vibe but also some foreshadowment of what he will look like next.
It would be REALLY sick as soon as you think the song is about to end, Sonic.EXE rewinds part of the timer, maybe even twice, one where its like hes playing with his food, and the other as a last ditch desperate attempt to end your life. One at 2:13, and another at 2:52, like EX GF's tutorial from Bob and Bosip if anyone remembers that. No idea how hard this idea actually is to execute, but if its easy, its free coolness factor.
my ideas for the pixel green hill part i think *"sonic"* should have his creepy faces as his alt poses, so you can change it to make him only do the bleeding faces when you can mildly hear his voice. also maybe add a dark vignette and make green hill mildly glitch into a bunch of dead flickies with blood water and red tinted grass. i wish i could code and draw, but adhd and lack of confidence makes me not even know where to start at all, and i can only replicate instead of drawing my own thing. the after image is very fitting for sonic exe too by the way. i personally dislike the change of sprites to evil sonic at 1:13 in green hill part btw
This makes it better the events gives more of an exciting tone to it especially the shadow it gives what's xeno on the left making Xeno look a little bit more menacing

well I got it from an event pack so my only recommendation is to download this mod, go to the "custom_events" folder and copy and paste the following event in your mod "camera bounce.lua (and txt file too)" then place it in the chart for your song, Yw!

I'd love to see a rendition of the actual lyrics of the song where the screen is all but black, and all there is is Xeno, staring at us dead in the eyes. As if he were addressing us directly (a nod to the "I am God" jumpscare in the original). As for his poses: Right: Xeno tries reaching out of the screen, as if to pull us in. Down: His bows down leaving only his head, more notably his searing eyes. Up: Xeno uses his arms to pull open his whole mouth to an impossible size (akin to that of Mighty.Zip), revealing the arms and hands of Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman. All of which are reaching out to us to pull us in. Left: Xeno leans left, flashing his yellowed grin at us as he makes a finger gun pointing upward (Sonic's iconic finger gun pose we see at almost every cover of every sonic game that ever existed). Also, you don't get to see the arrow notes used to input the notes to hit. This is to simulate a sense of panic often present in horror games (absence of action). In a way, it'll be as if Xeno has penetrated into the mod's code for a small window of time to drag you, the player into the game. But since its a game, you'll just be taken directly back to the start of the game, all the progress you made up to that point. All gone. The only way to get through, is to be observant. I'd imagine a system where you'd enter the right notes in using the red glow around the screen. It'll be really faint, almost shrouded in the darkness. But the colors corresponding to the proper notes will indeed be there. Long note colors will fade out slowly, while short notes will just appear in a snap. The whole sequence will end with an animation of Xeno screaming in rage, as he tries in vain to reach out and grab us. The very last part of the song the continues as normal.
@@StarguyLOL That's unfortunate. If I remember correctly, someone named Gargan has a sprite with Xeno looking right at the screen. But I don't suppose that it's possible to see if such a sprite can be custom made?
the moving notes and screen shake were actually events if you checked the chart editor for the mod, but yes the health drain is an event either way there's still a little more than the original
