How can anyone say CC's game is all flash - totally reliant on three-pointers when she now has the all-time record (by a significant margin) of most assists in a season? In other words she's responsible for giving more scoring opportunities to her teammates than any player in history. Obviously an assist is the exact opposite of going for a flashy score. And how can anyone say neglects defense when she's in the top 20 of all players in the league in both steals and rebounds? A point guard in the top 20 among all players - in rebounds?

They have happily taken the lazy way out, not trying to improve the way they play or become self-sufficient. They have been contented with sucking hind teat and getting paid for non-production. Now here comes Caitlin Clark, a young woman with a strong work ethic who believes that paychecks should be earned. She also brings a genuine love of the game of basketball and wants to show her respect for it by improving her skills and finding creative ways to do it. She is different and that won't be tolerated by those who are mired in the muck of their own self-satisfaction. They are trying to separate her from her fans, thinking that will destroy her. They tried to physically bully her thinking they could scare her away. The status-quo group is not going to win. Caitlin's fan base is real and will not turn against her. Swoopes and her fellow evil-doers need to crawl back into their festering holes and hide in shame.

Cheryl Swoops saying what she did about Clark not coming into the league putting up the numbers she was in college in her first year shows how salty she is. Because it's that didn't need to be said due to nobody trying to make that claim. Coupled with the fact that no WNBA player in it's history has put up those numbers, it's not even close. Not in their college careers or in the league.
