In this video I’m showing one of the gardens 15 rooms - The Sunken Garden. This is a white container garden with many spring bulbs. It’s a passion for me to work with both colors and garden design.
My name is Claus Dalby, and I live in Risskov on the outskirts of Aarhus in Denmark. To date, I have written about 30 books on flowers and gardens in Danish, and my garden has been featured on many TV shows. In March 2022 my first book in English will be available. I consider my home (built in1908), and its garden with its neighboring wood, as my sanctuary. When I started gardening in 1996, there was just a large lawn covering approximately 1 acre (4,000 square meters), but today the grass is long gone - replaced by 15 hedged rooms with varying colors and moods. Additionally, one of my great passions is growing in pots, arranged to create spectacular container gardens, which I will share quite a bit about on this channel. Decor and creating moods have always interested me - both outside and inside - and I love to use the flowers from my garden for bouquets and to inspire other crafts that create a sense of hygge.

The sunken garden is incredibly beautiful. You had a great idea to make it a container garden so that you can do the same colors in the whole space, then change them out for a new season and its color. I can't imagine how many hundreds of pots you have ‼️‼️

Beautiful as always Claus. I think my favorite part is the small trees and shrubs in the middle of the yew hedge that sort of dangle over it all. And I quite like this springy color scheme.

I would love to see you make a video on how to arrange flower containers for the front entrance of the house ! Love all your grouping of color schemes! It’s very pleasing to the eye even tho it’s just one or two colors but the different shades of one color and the textures is where your artistry skill comes into play
