Hello 👋 from New York That was one of the best antique shops I have ever seen with all the amazing old history and the Crocs were amazing Thank you For bringing me along with you And showing me the amazing History that was in that antique shop I can't wait to see Is where and what you find next😊
It is my absolute favorite. Salt Glazed Pieces, Old Toys and Marbles, and Indian Artifacts. That is the stuff I am into the most. I like all the action figures from the 1960's. Planet Of The Apes. Gi Joe. Johnny West. But the salt glazed stuff if you can get it at good prices...HOLDS ITS value....in fact they have continued to increase in value since the 1980's. They are like having silver or gold if they are in nice condition....and are eye appealing. They are art.
They have Lay Away Baby. It is just packed with good stuff. I think that guy has a big inventory in other locations as well.....a personal collection. And can get anything you would want. And the prices are the best ive seen.....they are resonable.
I should have got it. The horse was even there and the breaks were clean...it could have been fixed easy. It had alot of stuff with it. Those are so cool
I dont think. But they will ship I know that. And man...this is the thing. This is a place you can buy from.....and NEVER feel like anything is "iffy". All the crocks....are one dealer up front. He wrote multiple books on crocks made in the area. If you call....order the books from him. You will crap yourself if you like this stuff. Then you can possibly work a deal on a crock that is pictured in ONE OF THE BOOKS. That is where the "Investment" is in this place.
Right near the end, the bulldog doorstop is also Hubley. Hubley was made near where I've lived my whole life, Lancaster, Pa. In the 70s and 80s I had several Hollywood set designers that would buy or at times rent from me. They would come in my store, buy or rent a variety of items and have them shipped to the sets on the west coast. PBS for instance was a long time customer of mine. They would purchase some of my larger items such as gas pumps, horse drawn buckboard wagons and sleighs, furniture, etc. I never knew what films my items were being used in but to this day I'll see things I recognize in some of the old movies and documentaries.
They have one of those in the antique mall in marietta those bulldogs that is mint condition in a showcase. It is the best one I have ever seen in person.
Very cool. I loe all those stone bottles...they are so nice. They are getting more and more popular every year it seems. I rarely see real nice ones for sale. People always buy them up....marbles are hard to find in stores....but the real nice beer bottles like that are even harder. They are a little more affordable than the crocks...so they sell quicker. What it seems like to me.
Incredible stoneware, both at the store and your moms place. I really like the smaller ones that were on the right side of the mantle. Think you said you dug em. That store really does have some great inventory!
Love the channel buddy! New subscriber here, been watching alot of your videos, very cool! Me and a friend of mine have a metal detecting channel down here in west virginia- Blue Creek Detectors. Keep on getting after it bubba!
My favorite item is the gumball machine with the marbles!! Love that!! Of course so many other cool things too. Thank you for sharing beautiful History.😘😎😊🔥👍
That was a nice looking book. How old is yours? I think I remember what that looked like in there....I think i was thinking it looked 1920's.....was I close?
I always stop in this antique store when I’m in the Marietta area. I always find something there to buy. I was there last week for work and my wife found some hat pins and I picked up some marbles. I just recently learned that Williamstown was home to Fenton glass. Great video!
Wish I could post a photo here. I took a picture of a couple of E.S.&B. crocks made in New Brighton, PA in the late 1800's that my wife's cousin has (3 & 4 gallon). The lettering on the 4 gallon crock is backwards. Probably don't come across many of those.
Hey Rocks!! Your awesome and I watch every one of your videos. Just kinda curious what age trash crocks are usually found in? Keep it up you inspire me.
well....in all honesty....all of it up to 1960. People still threw crocks away up to 1960...I have found them as late throw aways in that age of trash....but usually like 1890-1940 trash is where the most come from....but you never know man. I could find one tomorrow in 1950 trash.....could happen
It was marked $5,000. I am sure less would buy it....but they are not coming down much on that....go to a site like the one below...and look at what this stuff realizes in auction prices. $5,000.00.....Id say if they sent it to this site to auction it would get that or more. It is INSANE the prices some of these crocks get. www.crockerfarm.com/
Man... I went to rinky dinks this morning, there's some stuff up there right up your isle , saw several jars of old marbles, saw a bunch of stuff that was really cool.. I hadn't been in there in a few years,I was very surprised
Good stuff----I always find stuff in all those places. I do the best up there when all those dealers are outside. I could make 20 videos a trip in the summer. I am to the point now on RPM I can buy something worth 50 bucks in every video I make in these places...and after 30 days I make the money back off the video.
I hope, later this year, when you start rolling in the money, you go back and buy some of those crocks. Buy one every month or so. Put them on lay-away if you have to.
I've been watching your channel for a few days now and enjoy tagging along on your adventures.
Hi Rocks, I missed this video. But, I’m glad I’m catching up. Great store video. What beautiful , very cool pieces. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸Thanks for the trip.

I have the same Indian of America book, it belonged to my grandmother.
That was a nice looking book. How old is yours? I think I remember what that looked like in there....I think i was thinking it looked 1920's.....was I close?
Another great antique store! It is nice to have all those stores in your area to visit when it is too cold to dig.
My father Jim Stage used to be a co-owner of this shop. He is a Donahho expert and spent 20+ years working at Fenton Art Glass.
I always stop in this antique store when I’m in the Marietta area. I always find something there to buy. I was there last week for work and my wife found some hat pins and I picked up some marbles. I just recently learned that Williamstown was home to Fenton glass. Great video!
Hey Rock's I believe the stoneware beer is English.
Wish I could post a photo here. I took a picture of a couple of E.S.&B. crocks made in New Brighton, PA in the late 1800's that my wife's cousin has (3 & 4 gallon). The lettering on the 4 gallon crock is backwards. Probably don't come across many of those.
Man....do a video.....Get real good clips of it and just upload on here. People will watch something like that till the end of time.
