Those marbles were superior for new ones. If it worth getting some of those if you collect. You can get 7.99 for one of those with a good set of photos in an online auction. Those were just nice
Jabo finally shut the doors about a year ago. My mom was one of the last ones. It makes me so sad! My mom for a while was the only one they had in the packing/ regrading room! I can remember going there my whole childhood. Spent many days there.. My whole family worked there at one point. My grandmother, mom, dad and uncle. It’s so sad. Actually my mom for the last several years was the only regrade person they had.

My parents always drink their coffee, yep still at 90 and 88...black. So, my sister and I got to drink the cream! A very precious childhood memory for me. I would love to be able to find one of those tiny crocks:D

Hi Rocks, The glass ball with net on it are Japanese fishing net floats . Used all over the world at one time. They are not used anymore today. They still turn up especially on the Pacific Ocean. The real old ones can be worth some money. Soldiers from World War 2 brought some of them home when they were serving on the Pacific Ocean. Those can bring some cash, especially the larger ones.There was a resurgence of them during the 1970’s. Those would be reproductions. Watch for that . Thanks for taking me shopping with you. When I see the milk bottles it reminds me of a milk man service that would deliver those bottles to peoples households. Before my time but love the history !
There were so many nice bottles there. More than I showed. That Hutch that was 22.00....would have been like 12.00 with the discount....that bottle was just perfect. It was worth more than that. That big milk too was just sick

Watching......I went to Daytona in 91or92..Me and my buddy met 2 guys from Ohio, and hung out with them. They were cousins, and there with their grandparents..Their names were Aaron and Ryan. I have a smaller version of that glass buoy, fishing float given to me by my father in law. Here is some info: Norway, around 1840, was the first country to produce and use glass fishing floats. Many of them can still be found in local boathouses. Christopher Faye, a Norwegian merchant from Bergen, is credited with their invention. The glass float was developed through cooperation with one of the owners of the Hadeland Glassverk in Norway, Chr. Berg. The earliest mention of these "modern" glass fishing floats is in the production registry for Hadelands Glassverk in 1842. The registry shows that this was a new type of production. The earliest evidence of glass floats being used by fishermen comes from Norway in 1844 where glass floats were on gill nets in the great cod fisheries in Lofoten. By the 1940s, glass had replaced wood or cork throughout much of Europe, Russia, North America, and Japan.

Watch British mudlarking videos or bottle digging channels and they find thousands of HP Sauce. It stands for Houses of Parliament Sauce. it was actually served in the Houses of Parliament. That is how it got its name.
It probably was found by one of those channels on here....and ended up in Marietta.....it is possible. Bottles I have dug are showing up everywhere..I just give thousands away to dealers usually.

I just remember the the waitress at our local Mom and Pop Resturant in the 70s and 80s bringing the cream in a little metal creamer with the lid.

I like the 1970, 71 and 72 baseball cards. I had them when I was a kid. I would have bought them in a heartbeat, especially in that condition.

The sign's back was too pristine for it to be vintage. Also, the fake wear marks were too random and regular.
